The black floral dress is on sale for £58.80, although sizing is very limited, with only sizes 6-14 still available in all lengths (tall, regular and petite). Boden’s Marcia Midi Shirt Dress is made from a jersey material and has a belt around the waist to cinch you in.

It has 150 customer reviews; one said: “This dress is super comfy and has a great fit. I bought the navy and white stripes and I cannot get enough of it. It’s very classy, flattering and lovely. Its a great addition to my wardrobe.”
A second wasn’t pleased, adding: “So fed up trying to buy a dress from anywhere, not just Boden. If you have a long torso anything with a waist means the waist is up by your chest. Not a good look.
“Another return to process. Many companies make swimsuits for a longer torso; why not shirts, sweaters, and dresses? It’s so frustrating and makes shopping very tedious.”
A third wrote: “Lovely dress which fits perfectly (size 10 petite) and falls to low calf on me at 5’2, giving an elegant and flattering image. Fabric is a nice heavy jersey and I will get a lot of wear. I already had bought two other colourways in this style in the autumn, so this was a good buy in the sale”
A fourth commented: “I tried on several sizes and settled on a 12R which was slightly shorter than I wanted but the 12L was larger so whilst the perfect length, didn’t fit elsewhere (I’m 5’7”). I am in between 10-12 and this fitted comfortably, although the waist is a little high.
