Adult star Bonnie Blue has a bold message for ITV bosses after her interview on GK Barry’s Saving Grace podcast sparked controversy about her I’m A Celeb appearance
GK Barry’s now-deleted interview with Bonnie Blue may have sent I’m A Celeb bosses into ‘crisis’ mode, but the adult film star believes ITV execs should be thanking her.
The model, 25, recently sparked outrage after appearing on the Saving Grace podcast, where she opened up about wanting to bed “barely legal” men and boasted of her love for “taking virginities”.
Bonnie claims to make £540,000 a month by inviting 18 and 19-year-old students to have sex with her and film it for her platform. She says she checks their IDs and asks them to sign consent forms before sleeping with them, but concern has been raised by critics who argue that these young men aren’t thinking about the future repercussions of their digital footprint.
Clips from the podcast quickly went viral as many viewers felt Bonnie shouldn’t have been given a platform to promote her work, and the episode was later wiped off the internet. Rumours then emerged that ITV was in ‘crisis talks’ about Grace’s stint Down Under, with a top brass allegedly panicking about how to handle the backlash.
But Bonnie has now broken her silence on the whole fiasco, telling the Mirror that her stint on GK Barry’s podcast couldn’t have been better timing. She even claims that television bosses knew it was actually ‘absolutely perfect’ for the show’s publicity.
Speaking to the Mirror amid Grace’s debut on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, Bonnie said: “It couldn’t have worked out better. They called it a crisis, but they knew it was absolutely perfect. They’ve put someone who is going viral in the jungle, drawing more eyes to them. So, I’m waiting for them to thank me.”
Sticking up for Grace, Bonnie continued: “People have disagreed with me going on her podcast and have said that she shouldn’t have glamorised what I do for work. However, at no point did she glamorise it or even agree with what I did. She just listened to my story, which is what her podcast is about.”
The adult star then lashed out at her critics, adding: “These women hating on me can’t seem to understand that some women do things other than stand in the kitchen and let their husbands pay the bills. They seem to have a big issue with that. But the more hate I get, the more it increases my bank balance.”
Of the backlash, Bonnie said: “I’ve received a lot of death threats. Some say, ‘I’m going to stamp your head in’, ‘I can’t wait to put you under the ground’, and ‘I hope you get tortured and kidnapped’. They think I’m the one in the wrong, however, what I’m doing is completely legal. They want to kill me – how am I the one that needs help?”
Despite receiving death threats, the content creator still plans to sleep with more students around the world, having already targeted UK students in this year’s cohort of freshers. Her work has already taken her to Australia and the US too. She says her strategy to entice students maximises her profits, having found a ‘gap in the market’ for X-rated content with 18 and 19-year-olds.
There seems to be a spanner in the works, however, as the star recently had her Australia visa denied after she voiced plans to undertake paid work with a visitor visa. The ban came after a viral Change.org petition clocked up 20,000 signatures calling for her to be cancelled.
But now in a bombshell revelation, she claims to have found a way to attend the Freshers-style break – known as schoolies – despite the visa row. “I can’t comment on my visa, all I can say for now is that it’s still going ahead,” Bonnie said.
She added: “The people who signed the petition were uneducated, saying I sleep with underage boys or without consent. But I provide a safe environment for them. They are consenting. So, the signatures on the petition were actually signed under false pretence.”
Once so-called schoolies is over, Bonnie plans to capitalise on football matches, after receiving alleged DMs from Premier League footballers. “In December, I’m going to be visiting plenty of football games. I’ll have to visit Liverpool, seeing as quite a few of those players have been in my inbox – same with Chelsea,” she said. “Then I’ll be moving to the US next year.”
The content creator predicts she will make £10million in America in 2025, with her sights set high on expanding her team – which currently includes her mum and ex-husband. She said: “It’s a family business. My mum helps me a lot, writing signs, handing out flyers to students, booking appointments and doing general admin.”
Bonnie continued: “My ex-husband also helps behind the scenes and makes sure that I’m hitting my goals. I’ve got quite a big team behind me now and he overlooks everyone. I have two PAs, as well as my mum, a photographer, a social media manager, a publicist and a general manager. I’m in contact with a lot of TV productions about my plans for the future.”
