The Boots £10 Tuesday sale is back this week, and there are more than 100 products included in the promotion, with big brands such as No7, La Roche-Posey and L’Oreal all featured

Boots shoppers can stock up on some skincare favourites for less today (Tuesday, October 15) as the retailer’s £10 Tuesday sale sees dozens of beauty picks reduced. There are more than 100 products up for grabs at reduced prices in this week’s offer, with big brands such as No7, La Roche-Posey and L’Oréal all included.

But one of the biggest discounts on the 24-hour sale is on the Olay Regenerist Ultra Firming Day Hydrating Face Serum. Usually £34, the powerful anti-ageing cream has been reduced to £10, saving customers £24 on the RRP.

Supercharged with Vitamin B3 and Peptide, the ‘ultra-lightweight’ serum is designed to improve skin elasticity to reveal ‘visibly firmer looking skin’. The potent formula is fast absorbing and non-greasy, penetrating up to 10 layers deep into the skin surface, which helps optimise surface cell renewal.

Formulated for normal, dry and oily skin types, it’s said to ‘intensely hydrate’ for 24 hours, and improves skin texture over time, with the brand recommending it be used for 28 days to see transformative results. As a result, the skincare hero has earned a 4.6 star rating on the Boots website from shoppers, some of whom have used Olay products for ‘decades’ and swear by them.

One said: “I have always used olay since my early 20s now in my early 70s just bought this serum to try wow my skin has always been nearly wrinkle free but the glow from this everyone is noticing love it more than any other olay products I have used.”

Another added: “I have been using Olay Regenerist Serum for years! I’m not sure if it can reduce wrinkles? But using it daily has certainly helped to protect my skin in the ageing process! (I’m now 63, looking a decade younger ). Definitely an alternative to Botox, which has worked for me! Thank You OLAY!!”

As is the case with many beauty products, it won’t be for everyone, with one saying it felt ‘sticky’ adding: “Having used a high brand for some time I decided to try olay but for me this sticky to my skin, only using a small amount so def not for me sadly.”

But another described how it “helps my wrinkles disappear and tightens the saggy eyelids”, vowing to ‘order more’.

Other highly popular skincare serums for ageing skin include the No7 Future Renew serum, which contains a world-first peptide technology. It became the fastest selling No7 product launch ever last April, with one product from the Future Renew collection selling every two seconds on launch day – and over half a million transactions in the first four weeks. As such, it emerged as 2023’s best-selling overall skin care product at Boots, followed by the corresponding Future Renew Day Cream SPF40 and Future Renew Night Cream. Meanwhile, Revolution launched their new overnight serum earlier this year, which shoppers are saying is ‘better than Estee Lauder’.
