Brits have been stunned after a man living in Australian shared the ‘three things the UK does better’ than Down Under. TikTok user Lewy P, who is known as @lewyp23 on social media, admits he’s glad he left the UK but wanted to share some lesser-known downsides to living in Australia.

In his latest video, he said: “Okay, I know I’m always negative about the UK so I’m going to give you three things now which are better in the UK than what they are in Australia.” Then then goes on to list them saying: “First and foremost, number one…” But then the video ends abruptly with the words ‘The End’ – leaving viewers in shock over the blunt 14-second clip.

In the comments, one user said: “Yeah. Agree totally.”

Another user added: “Hey, I reckon the TV programmes are brilliant. I pay for Brit Box and Acorn so I can get them.”

A third user said: “I’ve never been to the UK but I could imagine cups of tea being on the list also UK sitcoms.”

One more user added: “Football kicks off at a decent time of day.”

Another user said: “UK is closer to Europe, that’s it.”

A final user said: “You’re so funny!”

In his other videos, he shared how he left the UK in February to start a new life in Australia with his partner – and has never looked back.

He says he spends his weekends travelling just three to five minutes to the beach, parking his car for free, and scrolling down it to exercise his dog.

Commenting on his move, one user said: “Genuinely proud of you guys. To anyone reading this and watching this, whatever you wanna do just do the damn thing.

“The world’s graveyards are full of people who thought they had more time.”

Another user added: “Compared to the UK everything in Australia from the sky to the neighbourhoods to the people to the shopping centres are just bigger, brighter, sunnier, shinier, happier, cleaner, newer and that has a huge effect on your overall mood.”

One more user said: “I’m from the UK and have lived in Australia most of my life and I love it. Adelaide is such a beautiful place, enjoy your life here and welcome.”

A final user said: “I love seeing people who moved from overseas fall for our beautiful city and state.

“The beaches, the scenery and strangers saying good morning and hello on your walks. It’s a different vibe here.”
