Britney Spears fans have been assured she hasn’t secretly become a mother again.
Speculation grew the pop star had given birth when eagle-eyed fans spotted what seemed to be a “baby’s foot” dangling out of a swaddling blankets, held by her bodyguard, as they disembarked a plane at Cabo San Lucas Airport in Baja California Sur, Mexico last week. However, it has now been confirmed this was a “creepily lifelike plastic doll” and, just like in October 2021, Britney posed with another dummy.
Nevertheless, a witness described the sight as “one of the oddest things” they’d ever encountered. Some statement – particularly after the singer, 43, pretended to “mother” a doll shortly after her conservatorship order was terminated following a lengthy court battle.
The onlooker said: “All you could see was the baby’s foot, but at one point they were loading up bags into a limo and you could see the back of its head. Everyone was staring at the kid in the blanket and thinking, has she had another baby?… It was only when they got really close that you could see the little dangling leg was made of plastic. It’s one of the oddest things I’ve ever seen.”

Other than her bodyguards, Britney had gone on holiday alone. She was immediately whisked to the five-star, £50,000 a week, Las Ventanas al Paraiso Resort, a spectacular beachside oasis overlooking the azure waters of the Sea of Cortez. There, the mum of two posted videos of herself sunnying herself in a green bikini.
The doll – or “baby” – was not in obvious sight but, since the witness spoke to the Mail Online, fans and those who know Britney have expressed their concern about the star. One former associate told the publication: “Britney looks lost. She’s on holiday with her two bodyguards and a plastic life-sized baby doll. Doesn’t she have any real friends? It’s sad. It is troubling to see her this way. You wonder if she is taking her meds and if everything is all right?”
But it is understood Britney continues to date Paul Soliz, 37, with whom she has been on and off for the last three years. When asked by a reporter, his dad said: “They are still together. It’s alive, the relationship is alive.”
While the pop star, originally from McComb, Mississippi, has no children with the construction worker, she has indicated in recent years she wants more children. Her two teenage boys; Sean and Jayden, are from dancer and actor Kevin Federline. Britney and Kevin tied the knot in September 2004 but the pair filed for divorced in November 2006, when both Sean and Jayden were infants.
