Amazon Prime shoppers are snapping up a ‘massive’ Cadbury Dairy Milk bar as it’s reduced in the retailer’s colossal two-day sale. The Prime Big Deal Days runs until 11.59pm tomorrow (Wednesday, October 8) and has slashed prices on countless products across its entire website, including chocolate.
The 850g Cadbury Dairy Milk Gift Bar usually costs £14.02 but shoppers can grab it for just £9.34, offering a discount of 33%. To put it another way, it costs £1.10 per 100g.

This deal is more cost-effective than buying a 360g bar at Tesco, which costs £5 and works out to be £1.39 per 100g. At Sainsbury’s, the 180g bars cost £2.50, equating to £1.53 per 100g, and Asda sells the 180g bars for £2.48, costing £1.38 per 100g.
It’s also cheaper than purchasing directly from Cadbury, where the bar costs slightly more at £11.50, plus you’d also have to pay for shipping. On Amazon, Prime members will get the bar delivered to their home without having to leave the house for free.
The chocolate bar is Cadbury’s flagship brand, made with 100% sustainable cocoa. I ordered this the last time it was on offer to see if it was really that big and, most importantly, worth it.
While I won’t bore you with a review – it’s Cadbury Dairy Milk, so it’s obviously tasty – the thing was nearly as big as my noggin. Even for me, a person with such a sweet tooth that the sugar in Tesco’s baking aisle takes flight at my approach, couldn’t polish it off in one go. In fact, it took a week. The bar is absolutely colossal.
Back on Amazon, the whopping 850g Cadbury Dairy Milk Gift Bar makes a cracking gift, or you could squirrel it away for continuous nibbling. Customers are over the moon with the size and quality of the chocolate bar, which has bagged a rating of 4.7 out of 33,912 reviews.
