Former Love Island star Camilla Thurlow’s fans rushed to shop her ‘beautiful’ Laura Ashley slow cooker after she shared that it was back in stock and cost less than £60

Autumn is the season for creating hearty homecooked meals, and one of the best bits of kit for easy tasty cooking is a slow cooker. Perfect for making everything from stews and chillis to pulled pork and soups, it requires minimal effort to use and is ideal for having dinner ready after work without having to spend hours cooking.

If you’re looking for a slow cooker to add to your kitchen this autumn, Camilla Thurlow has shared her top pick, as she altered fans to the fact her Laura Ashley China Rose Small Slow Cooker was finally available to buy again. Camilla wrote: “It looks like my slow cooker is back in stock! I have the large 6.5l size but I think the 3.5l size is also back in stock too.”

Although it seems the larger size of Camilla’s slow cooker has once again sold out, the smaller 3.5 litre version is still in stock and can be snapped up for £59.99. Although it’s almost half the size of Camilla’s, the 3.5 litre version still creates enough food for up to five people, so even large families can take advantage of the affordable appliance.

There are three adjustable heat settings to choose from, and it even has a handy keep-warm function, all of which give you total control over your dishes, including when to serve them. Rather than finishing work and having to set about cooking from scratch, the slow cooker means you can set it away before you head off to the office, and can come back to your dinner ready and waiting for you.

As well as being convenient, the Laura Ashley Slow Cooker uses significantly less energy than using a standard oven or hob, so you don’t need to worry about your electricity bills when using it – even if you have it running all day. The pot is also dishwasher safe, making clean up super easy.

One of the biggest draws of Camilla’s particular slow cooker is how pretty it is. Rather than your standard silver or black like most appliances come in, the Laura Ashley one comes in a gorgeous blue and white China Rose print which makes a statement on your countertops.

Amazon shoppers have been praising the slow cooker, with one saying: “This slow cooker is gorgeous and worked perfectly. Great size for small family or to cook meat to perfection for a larger gathering. It’s beautiful to look at and I love it!”

Another added: “Excellent slow cooker and looks beautiful in the kitchen”

Whilst a third agreed: “Works really well and looks so pretty on my counter. I use it to make slow cooked beef or chicken once or twice a week. It’s very easy to clean as well.”

Another gorgeous alternative is Swan’s 1.5 litre Slow Cooker which comes in a retro red and cream colourway. Perfect for small households of one or two people or those who want to whip up single servings, the Swan slow cooker costs £25 and has a smaller pot capacity.
