Charlotte Tilbury has just launched its latest skincare innovation, a multi-targeting serum that improves the look of dark spots, dark circles and redness in as little as six weeks

When Charlotte Tilbury launches new skincare, it’s always something to get excited about; just look at how popular Charlotte’s Magic Cream is, for example. And the brand’s latest launch looks like it might be its most impressive yet.

Charlotte Tilbury launched its Dark Spot Correcting Radiance Recover Serum today (6 March 2025), and it’s a real powerhouse at tackling multiple skin concerns, including pigmentation, dark under-eye circles and redness.

Priced at £70 from the Charlotte Tilbury website, this multitasker contains hero ingredients vitamin C and tranexamic acid, as well as a skin barrier-strengthening ‘biomimetic shield’, as well as Charlotte Tilbury’s own ‘Precision-Fade Evenskin™ Technology’. This helps to improve the look of pigmentation and dark spots without impacting the rest of the skin tone, revealing brighter, more even-looking skin.

Unusually for an anti-pigmentation product, Radiance Recover Serum also works at improving under-eye dark circles too, and even calming redness.

The brand’s testing of this smart new serum reveal some impressive results: a 52% reduction in the appearance of dark spots after six weeks of use, and a 53% reduction in post-blemish marks.

What’s really amazing, though, is that 98% of testers agreed that they would delay getting a professional clinic laser treatment after using this serum, with 91% noticing a ‘glass skin-like’ glow.

Early customer reviews back up these claims too. “This product changed my skin the minute I put it on,” one review reads. “I was obviously nervous trying to product due to the price but it’s worth every single penny. The elixir is lightweight, extremely effective in creating a smooth texture and reducing fine lines.”

“Actually works!” another agreed. “I have a couple of darker spots, and they seemed to have lightened dramatically since using the serum. Feels nice on your skin blends out well and smells really nice.”

A third review reads: “My skin looks so much brighter! Two pumps of this each morning and night is plenty to cover the face and it smalls amazing! Skin feels less dry even if I forget to apply moisturiser or SPF.”

Not everyone was completely convinced, though. One review titled ‘Disappointed’ reads: “This cream feels really nice to apply and is quickly absorbed into the skin. There is a slight fragrance to it, which I’m not overkeen on. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I’m not convinced I have seen any results yet, which is disappointing, to say the least. For the price, there are definitely better products on the market.”

If you are looking for a cheaper alternative, NIVEA Cellular Luminous 630 Anti-Dark Spot Face Serum, £31.99 (or £16 with a Boots Advantage card), comes highly recommended by our tester.

Facetheory Glow-C Tranexamic 5% Serum, £27, also has some impressive customer reviews.
