The new Rock ‘n’ Kohl eyeliners are beauty lovers’ secret to effortless, smudge-proof look and it’s available in six flattering shades
Charlotte Tilbury has launched new kohl pencils that draws people’s attention to the eyes. The new Rock ‘n’ Kohl Kajal Eye Pencils are many beauty lovers’ answer to ‘effortless, sultry smokey eyes’ in seconds.
Available in three matte shades and three metallic shades and priced at £25 each, the pencils are easy to glide on in one swipe and founder Charlotte said shoppers can turn their feline flick to smokey eyes easily using the smudger tip.
The celebrity MUA said: “For year working backstage, I created my signature Rock ‘n’ Kohl Smokey Eyes on countless celebrities and supermodels, setting trends from 90s Grunge Bedroom Eyes to a Rock Chick Smoulder. I became known as the Queen of Smokey Eyes and I knew I had to bottle my eye secrets and share them with the world.”

The new addition is an major improvement to Charlotte’s original kohl eyeliners that launched in 2013, the new Kajal Eye Pencils are highly pigmented, ultra-creamy and waterproof. In a test, 33 participants said their eyeliner lasted up to 28 hours on the eyelid and up to 10 hours on the waterline. For extra skin benefits, Chantecaille’s Kajal Eyeliner is infused with aloe vera and safflower seed extract for a smooth glide and it’s available for £30.
The three matte shades are: Bedroom Black, Barbarella Brown and Fig Smoulder; the metallic shades are: Smokey Bronze, Hypnotic Peacock and Sapphire Nights. While reviews are yet to come in, Charlotte gave tips to customers on using the new Kajala Eyeliner: “Line, Smude and Smoulder. Apply along the lash line, in your waterliner, smudge it out using the built-in smudger brush, or create Charlotte’s iconic feline flick.”
To make your eyes a statment look, Chrarlotte added: “You can wear any Rock ‘n’ Kohl with any of my Palettes of Beautifying Eye Trends. But these are the perfect pairs I have designed to wear together for ultimate eye-enhancing colour harmony.”
If you have oily eyelids, I’d recommend to use an eye primer before drawing the eye lines. Jones Road’s Light Moisture Cream, £40, ensures your lines or eyeshadow stay put, so it won’t slide around or smear. You don’t need much but make sure the primer dries before you move on to applying color and of course, the Light Moisture Cream can be applied on the face as well.
