JD Vance was seen issuing a chilling warning to House Speaker Mike Johnson ahead of Donald Trump’s address to Congress, a lip reader has claimed

Vice President JD Vance was allegedly caught issuing a chilling threat just moments before Donald Trump’s address to Congress, according to a lip-reading expert. Despite previously being a harsh critic of the president, Vance has now become one of his most ardent supporters.

During the 2016 presidential election, he expressed fluctuating views on Trump, at times comparing him to Nixon and at others, to Hitler. However, this week, while chatting with House Speaker Mike Johnson prior to the 47th president’s contentious speech, Vance seemed to ominously hint at an impending “full reckoning”.

Lip reading specialist Jeremy Freeman claims that Vance privately stated, “Yes it is, a full reckoning, and long overdue”.

He was also reportedly overheard telling Johnson, “By the way, I think the speech is going to be great. But I don’t know how you do this for 90 minutes”.

Johnson appeared to attempt to keep their conversation private by pushing down the microphone before replying: “The hardest thing was doing it during Biden, when his speech was a stupid campaign speech”.

It remains unclear who or what Vance is threatening with a “full reckoning”. These comments were made shortly after his heated exchange with Ukraine President Volodomyr Zelensky in the Oval Office, reports the Irish Star.

Vance, elected as a US Senator in 2022, has hit out at the detractors of Trump, pointing fingers at them for the failed assassination attempt in Pennsylvania last July. “The central premise of the Biden campaign is that President Donald Trump is an authoritarian fascist who must be stopped at all costs,” he tweeted after the shocking incident.

“That rhetoric led directly to President Trump’s attempted assassination.”

During a fiery speech, Trump lambasted former President Joe Biden, labelling him as “the worst president in American history” which was met with thunderous cheers from his supporters. Democrats in the crowd appeared visibly unimpressed, some even wielding placards to express their alarm over Trump’s policies – accusing him of favouring his wealthy pals through tax cuts to the detriment of average families.

Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley didn’t hold back either, slamming the status quo under Trump and his unofficial right-hand man Elon Musk: “We cannot have business as usual while Trump and his unelected billionaire co-president Elon Musk are gutting many parts of the government that help working families thrive”.

In response to Trump’s address, he added: “The President tonight had the chance to change course, but instead, he came before the American people and doubled down on reckless plans to dismantle key federal agencies, disregard our laws, and dishonour our Constitution.”
