TV star and personal trainer Chloe Madeley has insisted she is ‘committing to staying single’ following her split from James Haskell as he moves on with another woman

Chloe Madeley has made a “commitment to staying single” following the breakdown of her marriage to James Haskell. The personal trainer and daughter of TV legends Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan declared her stance as James continues to move on.

They announced their split in 2023 amid speculation of trouble in paradise following the release of Chloe’s own reality TV show. Chloe and James, who share daughter Bodhi, were married for five years.

She has spoken openly about the difficulty of their breakup, describing the last year of their marriage as “one of the worst periods of my life”. The TV star is not yet back on the dating scene, having remained single since their split.

However, James has been linked to two women following his breakup with Chloe. James was recently pictured with former Big Brother star Sara McLean at Cheltenham Festival as they held hands.

As James’ new romances have come to light, Chloe decided to open up to fans about her own love life. She insisted she is not looking for a new partner in a candid Q and A session with fans.

Someone asked: “What do you look for in a guy??” Chloe replied: “I don’t [laughing emoji] I’m very happily committed to being and staying single [upside down smiley face emoji].”

After James was spotted with Sara at the horse racing event, Chloe took to social media to share a very cryptic post. She shared a video of a sheep running around with a giant bucket covering its head.

The caption on the video had ‘Me:’ meaning the sheep represented her. The caption also read: “It’s so nice in here”. Subtitles for the audio was placed over the video, which said: “She’s at a place in her life where peace is a priority and negativity cannot exist. She is no longer matching energy.

“She is simply removing herself from any situation that doesn’t vibrate her soul. So if you start moving funny, she’s moving on.”

Chloe later returned to her Stories to say she has been “happier than I’ve been in years and I’m not emotionally involved in any way, shape or form with anyone else’s love life”.

James recently expressed gratitude for the positive impact she had on him during an interview on the Spooning with Mark Wogan podcast.

He said: “Chloe is an amazing woman, extremely talented, she’s made me a much better person, being with her, now we’re separated. You separate essentially because you want to make sure your daughter has the best possible life.”

He continued to stress the importance of their daughter Bodhi’s well-being and their ability to work together as parents: “And I think when you have a child you have a responsibility and all of your other wishes go out of the window.

“The ability for us to co-parent and do stuff is so important, Chloe is more vocal because she wears her heart on her sleeve.”
