Sami Sheen has opened up about her relationship with her famous parents, Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen, saying she was the ‘blamed for everything’ in her mum’s ‘hell house’
Sami Sheen has candidly spoken out about the rocky times with her celebrity parents, Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen. The 21 year old OnlyFans sensation got real about the emotional turmoil and the quest for a stable life that she’s faced while growing up in the limelight.
She dished out the details on Gia Giudice’s podcast ‘Casual Chaos. Sami reflected on the breakdown of her relationship with her actress mum back in 2021, revealing the household tensions that led her to leave Denise’s house for her father Charlie’s: “I was living at my mom’s, obviously, with (Denise’s husband) Aaron (Phypers) and Lola and we were all fighting constantly.”
She continued, expressing feelings of isolation: “I did not get along with anyone. I kind of felt like the odd one out and being the older sister, the blame was like always thrown on me for everything.”
Amid the strain, Sami hinted at deeper issues within Denise’s home: “I was really struggling mentally in that house and there’s obviously a lot that I wish I could say, but I’ll get in trouble for saying.”
Eventually, seeking solace, Sami opted to move in with her dad Charlie, aspiring for calmer days. She revealed: “I wanted to try out living there and like, it was great until it wasn’t.”
Her controversial move made waves when, at 17, Sami blasted Denise’s abode as a “hell house” on TikTok and alleged she had been stuck in an “trapped in an abusive household”.
At the time, insiders communicated to People that Denise was “saddened by the situation”, countering that she’d only enforced “set normal rules”. Charlie made a statement, declaring: “Sam is amazing. I love her and all my children unconditionally. We’re having a ball.”
After spending a period at her dad’s place, Sami spoke of feeling “really lonely” and ultimately decided to stay with a friend, then briefly returned to her mum Denise’s home. She went on to say: “I was like, this is not working. My mom’s is not working.”
Sami revealed she got her own place shortly after her 18th birthday, supported by the income she generated after signing up for OnlyFans. She remarked: “I started OnlyFans and I got an apartment a month later and I’ve been living in an apartment ever since.”
Discussing the reaction to her departure from home, Sami anticipated understanding from others but was taken aback by negative responses. Further commenting, she said: “People were like, ‘How dare you have it so nice.’ I’m like, you guys have no idea. What goes on behind closed doors is crazy.”
Sami mentioned that Charlie was glad she took his side after many years, expressing that he became the preferred parent, although she emphasized her move towards independence wasn’t just about picking sides between her parents. She concluded: “I just wanted to start to find myself and have my own space and my own environment.”
