Dunelm’s popular lamp, dubbed “beautiful” and “classy”, is currently on sale
Dunelm has reduced the price on a “beautiful” lamp proving popular with shoppers. The retailer has launched a huge sale, which will continue across the Bank Holiday weekend – and one product in particular is drawing attention.
The Churchgate Allexton Ribbed Floor Lamp is now on sale for £64.50, down from its original £129. The lamp, which does not come with a bulb, has a curved stem and ribbed glass shade.
Dunelm’s full product description reads: “Featuring a curved stem, this stunning Churchgate Allexton Glass Floor Lamp features a clear flutted ribbed glass shade. This floor lamp has a 1.5m cable foot switch, making it easy to turn on and off. Pair this floor lamp with matching family pieces from the Churchgate Allexton range for a coordinated look.”

The popular lamp has an overall rating of 4.3 online, having gained a number of rave reviews. Among them, one person said: “Lovely lamp….leaves a lovely pattern around the room when on.”
A second wrote: “Beautiful and easy to assemble. Really brings out the room. Perfect for movie nights!”
A third shopper added: “Very classy light, which provides good illumination due to the clear glass shade.” Another said: “Beautiful lamp, bright light, great for reading, cable could be a little longer.”
A different shopper commented: “Brought the matching set of table and floor lamps absolutely loved them. Especially the pattern they throw onto the wall, beautiful.”
Another wrote: “I love this lamp it is just what I was looking for. The lamp is very well made and good value for money.”
However, some shoppers were disappointed with the product when it arrived. One said: “Very happy with light stand but glass shade has not a very good finish that would be expected.”
Another added: “Very nice lamp, solid and well made. Only drawback is if you use recommended bulb wattage, because of clear shade , is very blinding, use lowest possible wattage.”
Alternatively, M&S stocks the Dome Floor Lamp for £45, while Debenhams has the Modern Rattan & Fabric Lampshade E27 Floor Lamp for £37.99, down from £139. Next also stocks the Brass Ryker Floor Lamp for £99.
