Dune just dropped a pair of heeled sandals that give Chloe’s Monyaca platforms a run for their money and come in at almost £170 less, with shoppers praising them as ‘so comfy’
Spring officially marks the beginning of wedding season, not to mention hopefully a holiday or two in your near future. Both of these occasions require a great pair of shoes, and finding some that are chic, versatile to style and – most importantly – comfortable, is the goal.
We’ve been coveting the See By Chloé Monyca Platform Sandals , which are affordable by designer standards at £261.59, but are almost completely sold out in every size. However, we spotted a very similar pair at Dune, with the Jupiter Platform Sandals coming in at an even more reasonable £89.

The Dune Jupiter sandals resemble the Chloe ones thanks to their leather straps, gold hardware and comfy block heel, all of which make them just as perfect for the riviera as they are for a spring or summer wedding. They’re made from real leather, with gold buckle fastenings on the ankle and toe straps which makes them fully adjustable to fit your feet perfectly.
There’s nothing worse than feeling unsteady on your heels, which is why the wide block heel is perfect for maintaining stability. Aching on the balls of your feet is also a common complaint when wearing heels, which is why the combination of a slightly lower, more wearable heel height and a platform sole is an added bonus.
Open toe details and slim straps around the ankle also keep your feet cool whilst giving them a sophisticated, summery look. They’re available in sizes 3 to 8, and you can pick from black, tan and beige colour options.
The sandals have currently only got two reviews from Dune shoppers, but they’re both glowing five star ones. One wrote: “Beautiful shoes. Very comfortable . The size fits well. I get a lot of compliments from women.”
Whilst the other added: “I have these in black,been hoping they would come out in tan so comfy, perfect pair of shoes.”
If you’re missing the chain details across the toe strap like the Chloe pair, these Snaffle Trim Platform Sandals are £130 and feature a chunky gold snaffle bit detail across the front. However they’re made from suede, rather than leather, giving them a slightly different look.
Alternatively, the Nell Heeled Sandals from Hobbs are ideal if you need an even lower heel. Currently on sale down from £139 to £85 they have a similar design, and come in both black and tan leather.
