Customers on the search for a new broadband offer can include a TV package which comes with Netflix, Now and Discover streaming platforms at a cheaper rate than paying for each app separately

EE broadband
EE’s deal is an affordable option for households as the first three months are cut to £0

Consumers looking for a new broadband package can switch to EE and get the start of their subscription for free. Its ‘Pay Nothing for 3 Months’ offer is available on the EE website now and allows customers to include add-ons, such as TV packages for £0.

The broadband package alone (without add ons) starts £32.99 monthly, from the fourth month. The ‘Full Fibre 74 Essentials’ package is a 24-month contract, and comes with a 37Mbps speed guarantee.

The price of the ‘Full Fibre 74 Essentials’ package increases to £35.99 from March 31, 2026, then again to £38.99 a year later on March 31, 2027, in line with mid-contract price hikes.

Shoppers can also include add-ons when they buy the broadband package. One such add-on is an EE TV Entertainment package, which costs an additional £17 monthly; however, it does come with two streaming subscriptions and works out cheaper than paying for them separately.

EE isn’t the only service provider that offers broadband and TV packages. Sky has several bundle deals, including its ‘Essentials TV and Full Fibre 300 Broadband’ deal for £35 per month, with Netflix, Discovery, Sky Stream and Sky Atlantic streaming. Meanwhile, Virgin has a ‘Big Combo’ deal for £34.99. It includes more than 200 TV channels, including Sky.

The EE TV Entertainment package includes Discover (£3.99 on its own), Netflix Standard (with ads)—which costs £12.99 a month on its own—and Now Entertainment (usually from £9.99 a month but currently on offer for £6.99), where you can watch a host of Sky shows from Sky Originals, Sky Max, Sky Atlantic, and Sky Kids.

The price for the EE TV Entertainment package will increase to £19 monthly on March 31, 2016, and then to £21 monthly on March 31, 2027. The EE TV Entertainment package will allow viewers to catch up with acclaimed shows such as Gangs of London (season 3 recently released) on NOW, as well as new series of Black Mirror.

Viewers can also re-watch or discover hit Netflix show Stranger Things ahead of its return later this year, for its fifth and final instalment. The date of new season is yet to be confirmed. EE has more than 2,000 reviews on Trustpilot.

One reviewer wrote: “I had difficulty setting it up, but one phone call to the tech experts and everything was set up and working well, so much better than my last WiFi. First class service would highly recommend EE.”

A second wasn’t as pleased, he said: “Had issues since signing up that could have been resolved the first time. Instead, I had to chase with 10+ calls, over 2 months. This meant repeatedly having to explain the issue as insufficient notes had been left for new agents.

“Service can improve by actually calling customers back to resolve issues if not resolved the first time or not promising the call back service.” A third customer, said: “Seamless transition, set up in less than 10 minutes, no buffering, altogether should have swapped a long time ago.”
