Ekin-Su wore a statement perfume to match her dramatic entrance as she made her shock return to the Love Island All Stars villa, with shoppers saying it smells ‘rich and feminine’

Love Island All Stars: Ekin-Su enters the villa as a bombshell

Despite winning Love Island back in 2022, it seems Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is ready for another attempt at love, after making a surprising return to the villa for Love Island All Stars this week. For her dramatic entrance, Ekin-Su made sure she was looking – and smelling – her best, as she opted to wear Prada Paradoxe Eau de Parfum for her return.

Everyone knows a great perfume can not only make you feel more confident, but it’s also one of the first things people notice about you. Smells can also trigger certain emotions or feelings, so picking the right perfume for the moment was a major decision to make.

As a die-hard fan of the Prada Paradoxe fragrance – it easily ranks in my top three perfumes of all time – I can confirm that Ekin-Su made a great choice. It has a floral, woody scent that’s both sweet and sultry, and has a really powerful, feminine feel to it; just what you need to head into the villa.

The top note is neroli flowers which give it a crisp fresh scent, whilst the main heart note is amber, for a sensual and warm depth. Finally Paradoxe’s base notes of musk gives it some extra dimension and depth, stopping it from being too light or sweet.

Even the bottle is chic, coming in a unique triangular design that mirrors the classic Prada logo, with the perfume itself coming in a pink colour that mirrors the feminine vibe. It’s not just Ekin-Su (and me) who love this perfume, though.

It’s racked up a 4.8 star rating on Boots, with more than 5.5k five star reviews. One wrote: “Love this perfume! I get so many compliments. I also love the fact this is a refill for my existing bottle.”

Another added: “Love love love!! Smells rich and feminine. Well packaged and has become one of my best scents.”

With others agreeing: “Love the scent.. I get compliments whenever I go since I started using this perfume.”

Some were less of a fan of the scent, with one saying: “Not as expected and a little heavy for me. If you like woody perfumes then you’ll probably like this. Just not for me.”

However others disagreed, writing: “The compliments that I get at work are good. Saying it smells lovely and asking what perfume it is.”

The bottle is also available in 30ml, 50ml and 90ml bottles, or you can pick up a 100ml refill for topping up your existing bottles. You can currently pick up the 50ml bottle for £97 at Boots, or nab the 30ml bottle for £69.

However bargain hunters can currently snag the 50ml bottle for £77.60 at LookFantastic, where it’s currently on sale with 20% off for a limited time. You can also save 20% on all other sizes.

Other perfumes that have been compared favourably to Prada Paradoxe are Givenchy L’Interdit Eau de Toilette, which costs £78 for a 50ml bottle. Pegged as a floral, woody musk scent, the Givenchy perfume combines orange, bergamot and mandarin top notes with tuberose, jasmine and orange blossom heart notes, before finishing off with base notes of vetiver, patchouli, cistus flower, musk and sandalwood.

Another perfume that’s been compared favourably to Prada Paradoxe is Ralph Lauren Big Pony 2 Pink Eau de Toilette, which you can pick up for £60. It has similar notes, with shoppers saying: “It’s sweet fresh flirty”.
