Emma Louise Connolly gave fans a look at her beauty essentials including her everyday perfume that shoppers have praised for its ‘fresh and clean’ and ‘rich’ scent
There’s nothing better than coming across a perfume that you can wear every day. Whilst some are better suited to evenings and nights out, a fragrance that you can wear all day, every day no matter where you’re going is an essential part of your daily beauty routine.
For model Emma Louise Connolly, one of her go-to perfumes is the Escentric Molecules Molecule 02 , which has been hailed by fans for its “fresh and clean” scent. The perfume will set you back £115 for a massive 100ml bottle, but if you want something smaller to try you can pick up a 30ml bottle for £60, or buy a 30ml refill for £55.

Escentric Molecules‘ perfumes are known for their single-note fragrances which concentrate on a single scent, rather than a blend like most other perfumes. You can of course layer them with other fragrances, or wear them on their own to let the stand-out note shine.
Emma’s Molecule 02 perfume is focussed on the single note of ambroxan, which contains the sweet and earthy smells of natural ambergris. Ambergris is frequently used in perfumery and is a secretion from sperm whales. However, Escentric Molecules Molecule 02 is a synthetic version, which makes it vegan and cruelty-free, whilst still maintaining the musky, warm notes of the natural ambergris.
Shoppers at Cult Beauty, where you can pick up the perfume, have been singing the perfume’s praises. One wrote: “Love this skin scent, fresh and clean smelling. I like to use it under other perfumes to help them project and last a bit longer.”
Whilst another added: “Much prefer this to the very popular Molecule 01, very clean skin scent. I adore it!”
A third agreed: “Like it, my absolute favourite perfume. Long lasting and very rich scent. Love love it.”
Someone else explained: “Can’t smell it on myself immediately after spraying but others can. If I spray on my wrists & wait a bit for it to dry properly before giving it a sniff I’m able to smell it, or if I try to smell the clothing was wearing the day before I can also smell it that way. It’s very bizarre how these fragrances work, not everyone can smell molecular fragrances and it’s very common to be asnomic to it. But a lovely musky unisex fragrance and has excellent silage & longevity, especially on clothes for an EDT. Great for layering to add depth to other fragrances.”
