The fashionista nailed vintage glamour while attending a royal event last week

Fearne Cotton has long been one of my favourite style icons. Her edgy, grungy fashion sense, often mixed with vintage-inspired pieces, always hit the mark – and her latest look is no exception.

Last week, the presenter stepped out at the King’s Trust Awards in a dreamy midi dress that I’m eyeing up for my own wardrobe. The dress in question is the Dandelion Midi Dress (£89) from high street favourite Sister Jane.

Fearne styled the whimsical frock with a bubblegum pink handbag for a bold pop of colour, letting the dress’s details speak for themselves. With its high neckband, flared sleeves and scalloped lace trim, the piece gives off an ethereal, almost fairy-tale vine – like something Stevie Nicks might wear.

Sister Jane describes it as a ‘perfect blend of vintage charm and modern romance’, and I couldn’t agree more. It’s currently available in sizes XS to XL, although the site indicates that stock is low, so it’s best to be quick if you’re tempted.

To style, try leaning into the softness with pastel heels and a vintage clutch. Alternatively, pair it with chunky boots for an edgy contrast.

The Dandelion Midi Dress has a high neckband, flared sleeves, and scalloped lace trim.

For more vintage-inspired frocks, I’ve had my eye on this vintage midi dress (£49.99) from ASOS for a while. The lace cut-outs and floral print give it an elegant edge, much like the Sister Jane option.

Otherwise, Joanie is another option. The label, which Fearne has worn before, has a host of retro-inspired pieces, from jumpsuits to summer dresses.

The Sister Jane outfit has no reviews so far, making it difficult to determine whether shoppers are pleased with its quality. My only gripe is that it’s not the best colour for a wedding, although the fit and style are ideal for a summer celebration. However, it’s best to avoid it, as it might cause problems with the bride.

Otherwise, it’s the ideal outfit for brunch with friends or a posh dinner. And with its romantic silhouette and just edgy enough detailing, it’s no surprise that it’s got Fearne’s seal of approval. It’s available to shop via Sister Jane here.
