Flight attendant Demi Bonita has shared her hotel room routine, including the first two things she does when she checks in. They probably aren’t what you think

When it comes to being an expert in adventure, it’s fair to say flight attendants probably know a thing or two.

After all, they are more than used to packing their bags, jetting off into the sun and staying in a wide variety of different locations. When it comes to exploring the world safely, they know a thing or two about what to do.

Flight attendant Demi Bonita, who regularly jets to numerous locations and visits various hotels, has become an Instagram sensation for sharing her travel-savvy tips. She recently posted a video where she divulged that upon settling into a hotel room after a day in work, she makes sure to lock the door immediately for safety and inspect the bed for any unwanted critters.

Demi’s clip has gained over 1,700 views on Instagram, sparking a debate among her followers. Thankfully, she assured her viewers that she has been lucky enough never to encounter bed bugs during her stays.

Admirers of her profession commended her dedication, with one fan commenting: “Such a proud profession, performed with style in those beautiful suits.”

Others appreciated her content, remarking: “Nice video as always, Demi!” Meanwhile, another questioned if she explores new destinations on foot, asking: “I just wonder…you don’t take a walk in the town if it’s your first time? To sightsee?”

Demi responded affirming that she explores local sights but prioritises her essential tasks first. Meanwhile, on other social media platforms, other flight attendants have highlighted that airlines often have preferred lodging arrangements with “crew hotels” near airports. As a result, staff are typically bound to these select accommodations.

Nonetheless, there are perks, such as privileged check-in processes that grant them swift access to their rooms once they’ve landed. However, the quality of these hotels can vary significantly, depending on both the airline and the location.

It’s reported accommodations can range from luxurious to basic, with numerous factors influencing the choice of hotel. Essentially, the reality of working as cabin crew might be quite different from what many people envision.
