Loose Women’s Frankie Bridge baffled fans as she revealed her brand new product that is a copy of her nipples so they can ‘get attention’ like her – but it’s not all as it appears
Frankie Bridge has launched her own product that is a copy of her nipples so fans can “get attention” like her – but it is not all as it seems. The Saturdays singer baffled fans as she made the business announcement on social media.
She claimed she had created stick-on nipple covers that were moulded from her own to help women achieve her braless look. Frankie even filmed a behind-the-scenes campaign video for the brand ‘Fnip’.
The Loose Women star detailed how she came up with the brand and designed her own logo. Frankie said: “After months in the making, my passion project is finally here.
“So many of you have had an obsession with my nipples, and thanks to your lovely feedback, you’ve inspired my latest business venture.”
She added: “I despise wearing a bra, and this seems to inspire so many opinions. So I asked myself – how could I ignore this fascination?
“I’ve been working behind the scenes to bring you a product that allows you to have nipples to match mine. Moulded from my very own, the Fnips are designed to stick over your own nipples and allow you to get the attention and validation you need.”
Frankie invited her followers to be part of the “#breasties” community and help test out the first batch of nipple toppers. However, it wasn’t long before fans noticed the timing of the very unusual post.
They realised Frankie had been having them on and fell victim to her April Fools prank. She was flooded with laughing emojis under her post as one said: “Phenomenal and iconic.”
Another added: “Absolutely fell for it where can I get a Frankie nipple!” Someone else commented: “Brilliant!! (I did fall for that for a minute).”
Others thought Frankie’s idea was a good one, despite her making up the product as a joke. A fan wrote: “I would actually want these.” Another shared: “I genuinely had a pair of these about 20 years ago.
“I bought them for a laugh and they got a lot of attention!” Frankie’s lighthearted post comes after she candidly opened up on her depression.
In a heartfelt post to her 1.5 million followers, Frankie spoke to the camera as admitted: “I have finally made it down to the gym, it has taken me the whole day to actually get here.
“My depression is absolutely kicking my a*** at the moment, I’m so over it. You just feel like you do all the things you’re told you’re meant to do, and then it just still always comes back.”
She sadly added: “I’m just so bored of myself, it is so boring, and I just think everyone around me must just be so bored of it as well, and I just, I’m over it.”
The I’m a Celebrity star tried to look on the bright side, and shared: “But I’m here, I’m going to try and do as much as I can in the gym, because I know it will make me feel better, instead just sitting around eating s**t, which is what I’ve been doing all day, which only makes me feel worse, and I know that, so I don’t know why I do it, but here we are back in the same old place.”
Frankie is an ambassador for the mental health charity Mind, and recently admitted that her mental health was at a low after being hit by a “horrendous bug.”
The Loose Women star, who shares two sons with footballer husband Wayne Bridge, said that she was “questioning everything” at the time, including whether she had “failed” as a parent.
