The tulip, a vibrant flower that brings us immense joy in mid to late spring, comes in a plethora of colours for you to choose from.

Ensure to plant your Tulip bulbs in well-drained soil and ideally where they can bask in the full sun during late spring. I personally enjoy planting Tulip bulbs in my pots, plants, tubs, beds and borders, writes popular Instagram gardener Tom Strowlger.

Some of my Tulip bulbs are planted in tight clusters to create a burst of colour in a small area, while others are arranged in neat rows. Their versatility allows for creativity when planting.

The bulbs should be planted about 15cm deep to provide support for their main green stems to stay upright above ground, reports the Express. Our goal is to create a cornucopia of colour in our spring garden. You can even opt for varieties with differently shaped petals.

With an extensive variety of Tulips available, you can find ones that suit your gardening taste. So, let’s plant them, forget about them for a bit, and watch as they burst into action next spring.
