Tom Brady was the subject of a three-hour long roast that was premiered exclusively on Netflix, with the NFL legend’s ex-wife Gisele Bundchen reportedly left unimpressed

Gisele Bundchen’s reaction to the savage “The Roast of Tom Brady” says it all about their split back in 2022. Bundchen, Tom Brady’s ex, was left upset after he defended New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft during the roast, but kept quiet when her name was mentioned.

The Netflix special featured a relentless three-hour onslaught of brutal jibes aimed at Brady, with plenty of swipes at his former spouse and her new partner who happens to be her jujutsu coach. Comedy king Kevin Hart led the charge at the roast, where a host of celebs and sports icons lined up to take shots at Brady.

Stars like Rob Gronkowski, Randy Moss, Bill Belichick, Kraft, Will Ferrell, and even Kim Kardashian showed up to roast the quarterback. Bundchen reportedly took offence to the event, suggesting that once more, Brady prioritised the gridiron over his family which was an issue that allegedly contributed to their marital breakdown.

Brady, who boasts seven Super Bowl rings, managed to laugh off the digs about Bundchen, his crypto losses, and the notorious “Deflategate” scandal involving the Patriots. However, he only confronted ‘roaster’ Jeff Ross when the comic crossed a line with a joke about the massage scandal involving Patriots owner Kraft.

After Ross’s controversial joke, Brady stood up and warned him, “Don’t say that —- again,” marking the sole moment the ex-NFL champ seemed genuinely annoyed. The atmosphere was tense, reminiscent of the infamous Will Smith-Chris Rock Oscars slap, but Brady kept his cool despite Ross poking fun at the 2019 scandal.

Ross made a joke about Brady’s first encounter with Kraft, saying: “And on the first day of training camp, that scrawny rookie famously walked into the owner Robert Kraft’s office and said, ‘I’m the best decision your organization has ever made,'” before landing the line, “‘Would you like a massage?'”

Kraft found himself embroiled in controversy when he was accused of soliciting sexual services at a Florida spa in January 2019, though the charges were eventually dropped after a year and a half. Despite pleading not guilty, seeing the case dropped, and later issuing an apology due to the intense media scrutiny, the incident left a mark.

Brady’s allegiance to Kraft has been unwavering throughout his illustrious NFL career. A report from Page Six suggests that Gisele Bundchen is once again exasperated by Brady prioritising his football commitments over their family life. After announcing his retirement, Brady had a change of heart and decided to give it one more shot with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022.

That year saw him part ways with Bundchen, spend less time with his children as they moved with their mother, and endure his first losing season. Bundchen was eager for Brady to hang up his boots and enjoy a family life free from the constraints of football.

However, the seasoned player wasn’t ready to bid farewell to the game just yet. It’s unlikely that Bundchen chose to end their 13-year marriage over an additional season, but Brady’s reactions to jokes about her suggest he’s moved on.
