Fans are concerned that Katie Price has had her teeth done yet again despite several warnings from experts over the damage it can cause. We take a look at the history of her ever changing mouth
In the hope of a perfect smile, it seems like Katie Price won’t stop getting her gnashers done despite warnings from experts. The former glamour model has sparked concern from fans and dentists alike after she was seen on a trip to Waitrose with new gleaming pearly whites.
Katie has previously opened up about her troubles and battles with body dysmorphia, and now there is huge speculation that the 46-year-old has had her ‘Turkey teeth’ redone – but if she has, it isn’t the first time she’s retouched them. From huge teeth, to stumps and agonising pain we take a look at the ever changing mouth of Katie Price.

It’s clear Katie has previously had several sets of veneers in recent years, and even though she’s insisted she hasn’t had her eye-catching pearly whites replaced recently, Dalel Trabelsi, dentist and clinical lead at Tooth Club, told the Mirror: “Katie Price’s recent dental transformation has raised concerns, particularly about the size of her veneers and the potential risks involved.
“Oversized veneers can cause several issues, including bite misalignment, which may lead to discomfort or temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and they can also interfere with speech by affecting tongue movement and may irritate the gums, increasing the risk of inflammation or gum disease over time.”
But she knows her teeth are a talking point, and after the snaps taken outside Waitrose, Katie took to her Instagram after reflecting on comments that her teeth were too big for her face. She shared a video to her fans and said: “Well the topic of this week is all about my teeth, not my weight”. Admitting: “People will find anything to pick on me”, the star, 46, said: “I don’t know, everyone says my teeth look too big for me. Well I can assure you, I haven’t had a new set of teeth.”
Even if she hasn’t recently had them done, the amount of times the star has changed them leads experts to worry about the health of her mouth and whether she has any tooth tissue remaining. Back in August 2024, Katie headed to Turkey with boyfriend, JJ Slater, amid her ongoing bankruptcy issues and the couple decided to get matching Turkey teeth while abroad.
Katie showed off the impressive work that has been done to her teeth on her Instagram page and appeared to be more than happy with the results. She sported shades with the name of the dental company, Dentica.
Katie’s teeth have been a talking point for her whole career. At just aged 20, it’s believed the star had her first transformation. A regular face as a glamour model, it was back in 1998 when speculation started over what she’d done to her mouth. Katie made a pivotal decision that would shape her career in 1997 and had some porcelain veneers.
Then in 2007 according to Daily Mail Katie had again renewed her dental veneers in Spain, reportedly paying £25,000. By comparing photographs taken in 2006 and 2008, it’s clear small changes were being made, and then in from 2017 onwards, it became even more evident her teeth experienced a notable shift in colour and angle adjustments.
Katie had her first set of veneers fitted in 2017 but this is when the problems started. In 2019, she mentioned how she had experienced issues with two of her molars and the loss of one after getting veneers and a trip to Turkey the same year was solely for the purpose of fixing three teeth.
She then reportedly had a new set of Turkey veneers in 2020, but they fell out not long after having them done. She had to put up with the gaps for weeks before finally being able to get back to Turkey to get them fixed. An insider previously told The Sun Online the teeth that fell out were at the back and couldn’t be seen from the front, but she was “horrified” when they came loose and she “literally spat them out”.
Then in 2023, she suffered an awkward blunder during a live video with fans as her tooth fell out. Her pearly whites caused a stir as it came loose during a chat with her followers. Never one to get embarrassed, however, Katie took the tooth out of her mouth and showed it to the camera. She then poked her tongue through the gap it had left and fans comforted the star as they pointed out that at least it wasn’t one of her front teeth and blamed vaping on them falling out.
Explaining what happened, Katie said: “You know my tooth came out. I swear it’s the vape because I put it here [gestures to her mouth] and it’s on the tooth that come out, so I wondered if it’s that what made my tooth loose.” Her dental work has been well-documented as the reality TV star once famously invited cameras into the operating room.
Its clear the star has had a combination of crowns and veneers during her lifetime – the latter being a less invasive option. “Several re-dos of veneers and now crowns over the years would have left [Katie] with little or no tooth tissue remaining,” Dr Nilesh R. Parmar told The Mirror.
The award-winning dental implant surgeon added: “Remember each time veneers or crowns are re-done we have to remove more tooth tissue. As this gets closer and closer to the nerve, these teeth can need root canal work further reducing their lifespan.” Dr Parmar says most patients who have had “aggressive crowns or veneers” are often left needing titanium dental implants screwed into their jaw bones.
