Victoria Beckham was supported by Harper Beckham at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards this week amid rumours the teenager will have her own brand in the future

Teenager Harper Beckham supported her mother Victoria Beckham at an awards ceremony earlier this week at which the former Spice Girls member was herself honoured.

Victoria, 50, was among those celebrated at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards on Tuesday. She joined a host of other celebrities at the event, which was held at Claridge’s in London, and was accompanied by Harper, 13.

Harper is the youngest of fashion designer Victoria’s four children with retired footballer David Beckham, 49. The couple are also parents to sons Brooklyn Beckham, 25, Romeo Beckham, 22, and Cruz Beckham, 19, together.

At the awards ceremony, Harper introduced her mother on stage to collect the accolade for Entrepreneur of the Year. As reported by Harper’s Bazaar, she said: “The winner is someone I have always looked up to. [She’s shown] me the value of working hard, dreaming big and setting my standards. […] Tonight I am so proud to present the Entrepreneur Of The Year award to a truly inspiring woman who means the world to me, my amazing mummy, Victoria Beckham.”

Before accepting the award, Victoria said at the podium that Harper had given the introduction with “such poise and such elegance”. She then said to her daughter: “I am so proud of the incredible young lady that you have become.” It comes following reports that David and Victoria are preparing for Harper to have a career in the public eye in the future. The speculation comes amid the Sun reporting that Victoria has incorporated a business, H7B Limited, for the future and it’s been teased that Harper could land lucrative brand deals when she’s older.

A source told the Sun: “There is huge demand from brands who see her as someone lots of other teens would look up to. Posh and Becks can see her potential and she wants to try some things out in the public eye.” They added that the “wheels are in motion” to “slowly book some jobs” for Harper. Whilst a source also told the outlet: “Right now, this is purely an administrative thing.” They said that Harper’s parents have “no immediate plans” for anything “commercial,” with the source describing it as an “exciting” option for her in the future.

Just last month, it was teased that Harper hopes to have a brand of her own in the future. Victoria teased that Harper was following in her footsteps at the launch of her new perfume Reverie in New York. As previously reported, one clip shared by Victoria showed Harper writing her hopes for the future on pieces of card, including that she will “create an amazing brand when I’m older”. Victoria wrote in her caption: “Harper Seven following in mummy’s footsteps and putting her hopes and dreams out there”.
