To anyone who thought it was too early to think about Christmas, Harrods is proving them wrong. The luxury retailer has officially launched preorders for its highly anticipated 2025 Beauty Advent Calendar, and it’s guaranteed to be a sell-out.
It comes two days after a successful pre-launch of the brand’s sought-after fragrance advent calendar, which has completely sold out in less than 48 hours. Shoppers can expect the beauty version to be equally as popular.
Retailing at £250, this premium countdown contains 32 high end products, with 14 full-sized items from revered and celebrity-loved brands like La Mer, La Prairie, Augustinus Bader, and Medik8. While Harrods hasn’t released the exact value of the haul this year, by my calculations, it’s around the £1,500 mark.

As for the ‘cost per product’, it works out to £7.81 per item. This is made more impressive when you consider that several of the full-sized products retail for significant sums individually.
For example, the MZ SKIN Soothe & Smooth Eye Complex 14ml is worth £110, while the La Mer Crème de la Mer Moisturizing Cream 15ml is worth £85 and the Augustinus Bader The Face Oil 10ml is worth £76, so it’s not hard to see how quickly the value racks up.

Having sold out 10 years in a row, this year’s beauty advent calendar is worth £1,245 and includes 30 iconic beauty finds, including 20 full size, plus a unique Ianthe print drawstring bag all for £275.
The Cult Beauty Advent Calendar often sells out quickly, and for 2025 boasts a value of more than £1,100, featuring 20 full sized products and 16 of this year’s hottest launches. It’s said to be ‘bigger and bolder than ever’ with more makeup products than in previous years.

As a beauty writer who has written about and unboxed countless beauty advent calendars in recent years, I know a thing or two about the festive hauls. When it comes to Harrods, the retailer is well known for curating its calendar with indulgent, aspirational beauty, with few other brands cramming this much high-end skincare into their offering.
There’s a good variety as haircare, skincare, body, makeup and fragrance are all covered, but it does lean skincare-heavy, with over 50% of the contents sitting within the category. At £250, it’s definitely one of the more expensive options on the market, with some more affordable calendars expected to launch in the coming months.
For anyone seeking a slightly smaller slice of luxury at a lower price point, Harrods is also offering The Harrods 12 Days of Hair & Body Advent Calendar 2025 for £99. It’s more affordable, albeit with fewer products and less variety, but the brands are impressive, with 18 products from Sol de Janeiro, Ouai, Vieve and more.
The Harrods Beauty Advent Calendar 2025 is designed to impress and is expected to sell out quickly. It’s available to pre-order exclusively at Harrods, with delivery expected from August 20.
