Tributes have been paid to adult star Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves – known online as Anna Polly – who died falling from a hotel balcony in Nova Igacu, Brazil, as police launch an investigation
The boyfriend of a woman tragically found dead in a hotel courtyard after plummeting from a balcony has paid tribute.
Anna Beatriz Pereira Alves died in the horrific fall at the hotel in Nova Iguacu, north west of Rio de Janiero, Brazil. An adult content creator on OnlyFans, 28-year-old Anna had reportedly been working at the time with two other men for a filmed threesome.
Authorities in Brazil are now investigating the star’s death, with reports the two men with her at the time gave conflicting versions of events. No arrests have been made over the tragedy.
Anna’s partner, Pedro Henrique, has now spoken out over the heartbreaking news. Speaking to Brazilian magazine Quem, he said: “All the information about the case is already in the hands of the police and they are investigating.”
He added: “If someone is to blame, they will pay and the culprit will be found. She died in the fall. There was no time to save her.” In a social media tribute where details of her funeral were announced, Pedro said: “It’s so difficult without you. As the hours pass it’s starting to sink in and the hole in my heart is only getting bigger.”
A homicide squad has been analysing CCTV from the hotel as part of the “complex” probe, with staff on the site questioned. It’s understood Anna’s phone was also being looked at by a digital forensics team. A post-mortem was also carried out, although results have not yet been released to the public.
Police in Brazil said it was unclear at present whether Anna’s death had criminal involvement or not. A spokesman for the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Unit, which is leading the investigation, told local press: “We are conducting a thorough investigation to clarify what happened. It’s a complex case, and we don’t rule out any possibility, from an accident to a possible crime.”
The hotel where the incident occurred has been named locally as the four-star Mont Blanc Apart Hotel. Graphic footage showing a police officer standing over a body in a blood-covered sheet, believed to be Anna’s, has been published online.
