H&M has launched its new Move collection with supermodel Irina Shayk, and it includes a show stopping £38 kettlebell-shaped water bottle that’s a must-have for gym lovers

It’s officially the summer of sport, with the Euros ending just as the Paris 2024 Olympics kicks off with the first competitions due to start today, Saturday 27 July. If all this talk of sports has got you keen to level up your fitness or just start incorporating some sports luxe styling into your wardrobe, H&M’s brand new Move collection is the perfect place to start.

The collection launched on July 25, just in time for some Olympic inspo, and is fronted by supermodel Irina Shayk. There are plenty of athleticwear essentials, from leggings and hoodies to sports bras and rain parkas, but one thing stood out as the must-have piece whether you’re a gym girly or not.

The “Kettlebag” is a showstopper that’s guaranteed to get you noticed, and it’s exactly what it sounds like; a £38 silver kettlebell-shaped water bottle that you can wear like a shoulder bag. Seriously. It’s brilliant.

The kettlebell water bottle might not seem wildly practical, but it has a 2000ml capacity that’s perfect for keeping you hydrated during gruelling workouts, although we’ll also be carrying it everywhere from work to the beach for a fun and quirky alternative to our usual boring water bottles.

It has a secure screw-on lid, and if you’re worried about the logistics of trying to drink out of the oversized kettlebell shape don’t worry, because it has a built-in straw to make it easier. You also don’t need to be into your weights to lug it around with you, as it’s made from plastic with a shiny metallic silver coating to give it the look of metal without the weight.

The cross body strap is fully adjustable, and is detachable thanks to the carabiner clips at each end. As much as it’s practical, we’re loving how unique and different it is, and with novelty handbags making a comeback this year – just look at JW Anderson’s Pigeon bag – we’re already predicting this will be a sell out.

Although the bottle is priced at £37.99, H&M members can get 15% off for a limited time, slashing the price to £32.30. The 15% discount also applies to the entire new Move collection, making this weekend the perfect time to nab a bargain.

If you’re after another gym-inspired novelty water bottle, Amazon’s Dumbbell Shaped Water Bottle , £15.99, is also a great addition to your workout. It’s shaped (unsurprisingly) like a dumbbell, with a clip cap on the spout and a shoulder strap so you can carry it around with you effortlessly.
