Halloween lovers can’t wait to get their hands on the new item that’s ‘so good, it’s scary’
Spooky season has arrived, and Halloween lovers couldn’t be more excited about it. For shoppers on the search for seasonal decor, Home Bargains could have just the thing. The retailer has unveiled its Halloween candle collection, and the discount chain is living up to its bargain name.
There are a variety of themed candles and reed diffusers on offer for £3 or less. Home Bargains’ Halloween range proved popular when the discount store showcased it on social media.
The retailer posted a video on Instagram revealing some of the selection. The post said: “New In: Halloween Candle Collection. Spooky season is here, and our brand-new Halloween range has just landed in store!”
The products included three Apothecary Bottle Scented Candles priced at £2.49 each. The options are ‘Love Potion’, ‘Witches Brew’ or ‘Spellbound’.
The product description for the ‘Love Potion’ bottle says: “Ignite the magic with the Mystic Midnight Apothecary Bottle candle, blending juicy blackcurrant and orange with mysterious oud and warm vanilla for a scent that’s truly unforgettable. Perfect for adding a touch of enchantment to any space!”
Meanwhile, the ‘Witches Brew’ bottle blends “zesty lime, juicy plum, and spicy cinnamon,” and the ‘Spellbound’ bottle smells of “juicy fruits, creamy cocoa, vanilla, and warm spices,” according to the product descriptions.
The next product featured in the video was the £2.99 Scents of Salem Halloween Scented Candle 350g – Wicked Pumpkin. The product description says: “Set the scene for a spine-tingling evening with our Halloween-scented candle.
“As darkness falls and shadows dance, this candle infuses your space with an enchanting blend of scents that evoke the mystery and magic of Halloween.” It adds that the top notes are lime, plum, and agave, while the middle notes are cinnamon and wed wine, and it is finished with woody base notes.
There’s also a £2.99 Scents of Salem Halloween Scented Candle 350g – Creeping It Real. The product description says: “Spooky-yet-sweet blend that opens with juicy grenadine, romantic rose, and spicy saffron, melts into rich jasmine and warm amber, and finishes with creamy vanilla and sugary pink musk.”
Alternatively, vanilla fans might like the £2.99 Scents of Salem Halloween Scented Candle 350g – Spooky Vanilla, which “sets the perfect mood for your spooky festivities.” The candle has top notes of blood orange, peach, bergamot, mandarin, and pink pepper. The middle notes include rose, neroli, and geranium, and the base notes include cacao, vanilla, musk, and sandalwood.
Elsewhere in the video, Home Bargains showed off its themed reed diffusers. There are two Hallow Scream Fragrance Reed Diffusers, priced at £2.99 each. The first option is ‘Spooky Citrus’.
The product description says: “Bright, zesty, and just a little bit wicked — the Hallow Scream Spooky Citrus Reed Diffuser is your new haunted home essential. Bursting with eerie citrus notes and a twist of something mysterious, this 100ml diffuser creeps through your space with a scent that’s fresh, tangy, and spine-tinglingly good.”
The second option is the ‘Ghostly Vanilla’ diffuser. The video also showcased a pumpkin-shaped wax melt burner for £1.49. The scented products proved popular, and the video earned thousands of likes. Someone obsessed with the range commented: “I have a @homebargains candle addiction.” Another fan said: “Ooo looks fab.”
