The beauty product, which normally retails for £18, has been spotted on sale in Home Bargains for a budget-friendly price of just £1.99

Bargain hunters are thrilled to find a high-end beauty product, that typically retails for about £18, on sale at Home Bargains for a mere £1.99. The discount retailer, known for its competitively priced goods, has added the steal to its latest skincare range.

Home Bargains is now offering Carbon Theory’s Tea Tree Oil and Vitamin A Breakout Control Antiseptic Spot Paste in its beauty section for just under two quid. The same item sells for nearly £20 on platforms like Amazon and Beauty Bay.

Amazon lists Carbon Theory’s Breakout Control Antiseptic Spot Paste at £17.99, Beauty Bay is selling it for £18. But savvy shoppers at Home Bargains can pocket a £16 saving, reports Plymouth Live.

The spot treatment aims to banish spots and soothe redness, promoting skin healing and evening out skin tone. Its formulation includes zinc oxide, which “naturally and organically reduces inflammations.”

Tea tree oil is known for its anti-inflammatory effects that help clear breakouts and boasts “purifying qualities to cleanse your skin and kill bacteria whilst reducing pores.” Vitamin A, another key ingredient, aids in accelerating skin repair by encouraging the growth of the skin’s natural proteins.

Carbon Theory’s official TikTok channel showcased the application process for the spot paste. Simply dip a cotton bud into the paste, cover any active spots or blemishes with a generous layer, let it dry, and then rinse off.

TikToker Lauren Rose also showed her before and after snaps following her use of the spot paste, telling her followers she’s been struggling with chin acne “for the longest time”. She claims that after a few weeks of using the treatment, her “red, angry spots” started to go away.

Amazon users echo her sentiments, with Jane leaving a glowing five-star review: “Within one application at night the redness went and also the spots haven’t re-occurred in the same place again.” Melanie shared: “Wow, this treatment for spots is excellent my daughter wishes she had found out about it sooner.”

But not all feedback was positive, as Suzanne expressed disappointment: “Redness did not reduce for a few days, was expecting better results sooner.” Kourtney also had issues, saying: “Weird oily consistency, does nothing for acne.”
