Agne Druskienea was fatally stabbed with police arresting her 43-year-old husband Augustinas Druskis before charging him with murder – he will appear in court on Monday

A woman stabbed to death has been pictured with police arresting a man in connection with her death.

Agne Druskienea was pronounced dead after paramedics were called to a stabbing in Hornchurch, East London, on Saturday evening. Her husband, Augustinas Druskis, 43, of Hornchurch, has since been charged with murder.

He is due to appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Monday. Agne was located at a home in Cranham Road at about 1:40pm last night. Formal identification has not yet taken place, but she as been named and her next of kin have been informed.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: “Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service called officers to a stabbing at a residential property in Cranham Road, Hornchurch at 01:04hrs on Saturday, 18 October.

“Despite the best efforts of emergency workers, Agne was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Agne’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

“The man – who was married to the victim – was arrested at the scene.
