Trump’s back in the driver’s seat – and he’s pulling no punches, signing more than 50 executive orders in a month. How do you feel about his time at the top so far?
With Donald Trump wasting no time shaking things up in his second time as president of the world’s most powerful nation, we’re asking what you make of it all so far.
He’s been back at the Oval Office for just a month and it’s already been a wild ride, with him signing more than 50 executive orders – scroll down to see our round up of some of the most controversial so far. Kicking things off with a bang, he’s rolled out a number of high-stakes moves: tariffs on foreign steel and aluminium, ending birthright citizenship, and cracking down on what he calls “gender radicalism” in the military.
He also pardoned a load of Capitol Hill rioters and is keen to develop an ‘American Iron Dome’ defence system. Trump’s also pushing ahead with renaming the Gulf of Mexico and wants to create a policy that only recognises two genders.
From pulling the US out of the Paris climate agreement and prohibiting the mandatory use of paper straws through to declaring a national border emergency and releasing classified documents on Martin Luther King Jr. and JFK, it’s enough to make your head spin – and it’s only February.
Trump claims his agenda would lead to the “complete restoration of America,” but will it really? With all this happening in just a month, how do you feel about his presidency so far? Is it what you expected, or does it feel a little too much?
