Cooker hobs in our kitchens are sometimes hard to clean due to food spillages and oil splashes but one natural item helps remove tough stains in just five minutes
It’s incredibly important to ensure the cooker hob is cleaned thoroughly after use. Food spillages, oil splashes and general stains are all common considering the hob is used more or less on a daily basis.
High heat from the burners can also cause messes to become baked-on, which then make it even more of a challenge to remove. It’s vital, then, that we know of a quality cleaning solution to keep our hobs sparkling clean. One cleaning enthusiast has shared her go-to product that “works like magic” on stained cooker hobs. Even better, the solution takes just five minutes to work, reports The Express.
Taking to the Mrs Hinch Cleaning tips Facebook page, Nicola Davis said: “I was absolutely dreading cleaning my hob but thanks to the Dri-Pak liquid soda crystals it was a breeze. Unfortunately I didn’t think to take a pic before I started but it was in an awful state (don’t judge me!). “I just poured some of the stuff on and left it for five minutes followed by a wipe down with a microfibre cloth. It worked like magic. I didn’t have to scrub at all.”
Group members took to the comments to back up Nicola’s claims about the cleaning product. Diane Sloan said: “I’ve tried everything on my hob. Nothing ever seemed to get rid of the stains as well as liquid soda crystals.” Katie Bourne wrote: “Yeah I love this stuff! It works so much better than Elbow Grease.” Rachel Simm added: “I usually use the Elbow Grease spray, but I used that stuff this time and it did not disappoint. I’ve even used it to clean other things like my oven and even my washing machine.”
