A lucky punter has scooped the £7.3 million Lotto jackpot by matching all six main numbers, the National Lottery’s operator has announced.

The winning digits from Saturday evening’s lottery run were 10, 26, 33, 53, 57, 59, with the bonus ball being 18. Saturday’s draw brought out set of balls number 5 and draw machine Guinevere.

Speaking for Allwyn, the company behind The National Lottery, senior winners’ adviser Andy Carter stated: “We have some great news – one lucky ticket-holder has won tonight’s £7.3 million Lotto jackpot.”

He added: “What a way to start the month for this lucky Lotto player. Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are tonight’s lucky winner.”

Meanwhile, there was disappointment for players aiming for the next tier prize as no entrants matched five out of six main numbers plus the bonus to claim a cool million pounds.

The Lotto HotPicks, which shares numbers with the Lotto, also failed to find a top-tier winner since no one correctly matched five out of five numbers.

Nor was there a Thunderball winner, leaving the £500,000 top prize unclaimed. Allwyn has revealed that this Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot is estimated to be a still hefty £2 million.
