If you’re embarrassed about how grimy your grout has gotten since you last bothered to clean it, fear not, because two simple products could have it looking as good as new
Having mates over and them asking to use your loo, only to clock that your grouting is looking a bit ropey, is an absolute nightmare.
You’re left red-faced, no matter how friendly you are with them, and you’re suddenly frantic to clean it up and get it sorted once and for all. Well, one woman on TikTok (@neatlycleaner) shared how she transformed her grimy grout to sparkling, admitting how bad it was pre-scrub.
“Refresh my grout with me,” she started as she showed her mucky bathroom grout. Armed with HG Grout Cleaner, snagged for a mere £3 from Morrisons (usually £5), she got cracking.
She stressed the importance of cleaning the grout properly before adding any grout reviver and scrubbing away with the spray and a cloth.
The grout might have been cleaned, but it was still a nasty yellow shade – not what you want on show. But she was quick to recommend the next ace up her sleeve.
She then went in with the grout reviver, and as she applied the wonder stuff, the tiles were suddenly back to a brilliant white.
“I’m sorry, but look at that difference; it’s so satisfying,” she couldn’t help but rave, and the change was stark. She continued, treating all the grout and flipping her bathroom look thoroughly, with her gleaming marble-effect tiles adding the cherry on top.
“I think going over this a couple of times will look so much better,” she shared, but she acknowledged “what a difference” the product had made with just one go.
The grout reviver in question is from UniBond and can be snapped up for under a tenner on Amazon.
It’s a hit with other shoppers as well, with one chuffed buyer commenting: “Don’t bother with grout pens that are basically like tipex; this stuff actually works! I’ve just used this in my kitchen, and the grout looks brand new! Very impressed.”
Another enthused: “My god, it’s amazing it’s easy to apply with the sponge head on the tube; just squeeze lightly and away you go, giving an excellent result. Brilliant white grout.”
