Treatwell is the go-to app for booking beauty and wellness treatments, so we put it to the test to see if it’s as impressive as it seems
If you love treating yourself to a pamper session, be it a relaxing massage, a fresh manicure, or a stylish haircut, but struggle to get appointments in your area we’ve found an app to help. As we tried out a beauty-filled app that helps you find pampering treatments.
Living in a big city, I know all too well the challenge of finding the perfect salon in such a busy metropolis – a feeling likely shared by fellow city dwellers. With so many options, where do you even start? Enter Treatwell.
Treatwell is a handy app designed to make booking beauty and wellness treatments a breeze. Whether you need a last-minute appointment, are looking for a top-rated salon near you, or are hunting for the best deals on treatments, this app makes it all incredibly easy.

After downloading it from the App Store, I was instantly able to browse hundreds of salons, filtered by location, service, and price. The interface is sleek and user-friendly – I was particularly struck by how quickly I could compare venues and read reviews, reports reports Birmingham Live.
I tested it out in London, but the app works in cities across the UK. After a short exploration, I found my preferred salon and treatments. My bookings were easily accessible via the app, and there was an option to reschedule appointments if needed – incredibly useful for those juggling a busy schedule.
Treatwell also offers gift cards up to £250 that can be emailed directly. This fuss-free option allows the present owner to select a salon and treatment of their choice. While my experience with Treatwell in London was smooth sailing, fellow shopping writer Bethan Shufflebotham had a less positive experience.
Residing just outside Stoke-on-Trent, she found no salons available in her area. So, keep in mind that depending on your location, options might be limited and you may need to travel further than expected for an appointment.
For those eager to explore other options, beauty and wellness booking platforms like Booksy and Fresha are worth considering. These alternatives have a wide selection of partnered salons and specialists, providing customers with plenty of choices.
But if you’re based in a major city, Treatwell is a fantastic way to secure a much-needed beauty treatment for a loved one or yourself with just a few clicks. Plus, if you’re new to the app, you can enjoy a 10% discount on your first booking using the code TREATNEW15 (minimum spend £30), the offer runs until April 30.
