A woman who first married a rollercoaster in 2023 reveals she has divorced him and tied the knot again – falling head over ‘wheels’ for her most recent ‘husband’ after just one day of ‘meeting’

Gaëlle Engel, 47, first hit headlines after sharing the intimate details of her unusual relationships with two funfair rollercoasters named Sky Scream and Gravity.

She tied the knot with Gravity in March 2023 – but according to the blushing bride, things were not meant to be, with their marriage falling to pieces just 19 months later. Apparently, Gravity had another lover, said Gaëlle.

Luckily, she picked herself back up quickly and moved on, getting hitched to a new amusement ride named Tornado not long after her divorce. The stormy lothario is located at Foire aux Plaisirs in Bordeaux, France.

The path of love still wasn’t set to run smooth for Gaëlle and Tornado though and sadly, the attraction was later sold.

Once again, Gaëlle was forced to find herself a new stealthy boyfriend and landed lucky after setting eyes on her current metal man, ‘husband’, Flasher.

She even wears a wedding ring to celebrate their union, reports Jam Press.

“I broke up with Gravity because of another objectophile,” said Gaëlle, who lives in Bordeaux.

“I had been fighting for two years to save my relationship with him. I met Tornado that same month – he was an old ride in poor condition, a bit like me at that time, which brought me closer to him.

“I married him right away because I knew that he was going to be sold and, therefore, physically disappear from my life.

“This separation was a great tragedy for me.”

Time is a healer though and Gaëlle headed off in search of a new love, exploring another theme park in the hopes of finding the one. She did find companionship but that was all.

“In the meantime, I went to another fun fair where a ride named Experience was waiting for me.

“I got on well with my new friend, Experience, who saved my life, although I had no romantic relationship with this ride.”

When the clock bells chimed, welcoming in a new year for 2025, though, Gaëlle’s heartbreak was finally mended, and she decided to travel to a fun fair in Rennes.

Here, she met Flasher and says the pair tied the knot just one day later.

Gaëlle said: “A few days before this trip, I had already found myself thinking about this beautiful ride, Flasher.

“It’s 70 meters high and goes 140km per hour – with the way this ride is designed, I already liked it.

“When I saw this marvel for the first time, it really wowed me, so I finally listened to my heart and kissed him.”

“I married him on 2 Januar,y and I even wear a wedding ring engraved with both of our names.”

The objectophile enjoys spending time visiting Flasher in Quimper, France, where she stays for days on end.

Gaëlle, who has previously said that she has always been attracted to inanimate objects, is now vowing to not let anyone come between herself and her new beau.

She added: “Flasher has given me back my smile and a certain joy of living. I admit that thanks to him, I find emotions and sensations that I had lost for a long time.

“My love for him is powerful, and I won’t let anyone break it, not like Gravity.”

An objectophile is someone who experiences romantic or sexual attraction to inanimate objects.
