Big Business Entrepreneurs (BBE), one of the UK’s leading business coaching providers, is urging stakeholders to deliver more targeted support for small businesses across the North East.
The organisation points to the region’s deep industrial roots and significant untapped entrepreneurial capacity, suggesting that additional support could help unlock widespread economic growth.
Despite its strong urban centres and advanced manufacturing expertise, the North East has a relatively small business base of 211,605 companies, ranking 11th out of 12 UK regions.
