Jack Tweed has spoken out about the ongoing rift between Jackiey Budden and Jeff Brazier, insisting that Jade Goody would have wanted peace in her family
Jack Tweed, who is the widower of Jade Goody, has addressed the ongoing dispute between his former mother-in-law, Jackiey Budden, and TV presenter Jeff Brazier. Jack, 36, who now lives in Essex with his partner Ellie Sargeant, expressed that his late wife, Jade, would have disapproved of the public feud.
Proud dad-of-two Jeff, 45, has been reportedly feuding with Jackiey for many years now. In a fresh family feud, Jeff has reportedly initiated legal action to prevent Freddy from having contact with his maternal grandmother, Jackiey.
The TV personality, known for his appearance on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, has allegedly hired a barrister to represent him at an imminent hearing in a bid to protect Freddy from “a relationship that has been incredibly detrimental to his wellbeing”. This comes after an ongoing fallout between Jeff and Jade’s mum over the years.
Jade’s mum then branded Jeff “a c**k” as she secretly watched her grandson Bobby collect his first ever National Television Award.
According to The Sun, the 68-year-old, who had bought a ticket to attend the event, was overheard expressing her pride in Bobby before launching a verbal attack on Jeff, stating: “I’m so proud of him [Bobby]. He’s incredible. They didn’t know I was there. I didn’t allow them to know I was there. I didn’t want to see their dad. He’s a c**k. But I’m going to wait until they’re older before I let rip.”
Sharing his thoughts on the ongoing feud as it seemingly gets worse, Jade’s ex Jack said: “Jade would not want that. She would just want peace for everybody. That is what is important.” He added that Jade “would be over the moon to see him do so well” in reference to her son Bobby’s recent success on Strictly Come Dancing.
Jack also spoke out about Jackiey’s recent comments about Jeff, in which she called him a “c**k.” Jackiey made the remarks at the National Television Awards, later explaining: “Of course I said it. I haven’t got a problem with (calling him that). He’s been a c**k for f****** nine years.” Jack, who maintains a civil relationship with Jeff, said: “I get on with Jeff. We’re not close mates and we don’t speak all the time but it’s all very civil and that is the main thing.”
On Bobby’s rise to fame, Jack gushed: “Bobby is absolutely amazing. I see a lot of Jade in him. He has fantastic stage presence and lights up the room and the television when he is on. He looks like her and carries himself like she does in a cheeky and loveable way.”
However, Jack also warned Bobby about the dangers of the entertainment industry, stating: “I would say to Bobby to be careful, especially the more successful he gets… A lot of people were going behind Jade’s back to make money from her… It’s about greed. That world is full of snakes.”
Jack, who has remained close to Bobby and Freddie since Jade’s death, shared that Jade had asked him to continue being part of their lives after her passing, saying: “When Jade died she asked me to still be part of Bobby and Freddie’s lives. And I will be.” He also opened up about his love for Jade, saying: “I will always love Jade and I think about her often… I think of Jade every day.”
