Singer Justin Bieber sparked concern with fans following his latest public outing in New York City amid rumours of his struggling marriage with wife Hailey Bieber
Justin Bieber has recently sparked growing concern among fans after he was spotted out and about in New York City.
The 30-year-old singer stepped out in New York City on Tuesday looking worlds away from his past appearances during the height of his fame. The Sorry singer looked gaunt as he walked the streets in an oversized yellow coat and a slouchy grey hat. Justin looked downcast and and fatigued during his latest sighting amid reports that his marriage to wife Hailey Bieber is on the rocks.
Last week, Justin sparked more concern when he was pictured looking more frail than ever. At the time, the singer debuted a dramatic buzzcut as he was seen looking glum without his wife. After the sighting, fans of the Canadian-born star flocked to social media to share their worry. “This young man looks decidedly unwell. I hope he gets the help he appears to desperately need,” one fan said.
While another echoed: “He looks 40 years old. This young man needs help. Serious help. Something is eating at him. It’s not a sign of weakness to ask for help. He has a son to raise.”
Justin and model Hailey welcomed their first child, son Jack Blues, with the duo announcing his birth in August last year. His latest outing comes amid speculation on his marriage to Hailey – who he married in 2018. Fans have been claiming “it doesn’t look like things are going well” in the couple’s romance.
The singer added more fuel to the fire when he unfollowed his wife on Instagram last month. Before unfollowing his wife, he unfollowed his father-in-law Stephen Baldwin and shared controversial of a bong. Naturally, his huge fanbase were concerned by his decision to share the photo of the bong on his Instagram, and questioned the state of his mental health amid his seemingly declining appearance.
After headlines hit about Justin and Hailey’s apparent ‘troubled’ marriage, Justin put the rumours to bed as he took to Instagram to insist that he and his wife are still very much happily married. Justin hit back by posting a number of photos of Hailey. He claimed he wasn’t the person to unfollow his wife on social media, writing to fans on his Stories: “Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife. S**t is getting suss out here.” Justin then quickly followed his wife again on Instagram as fans breathed a sigh of relief.
Fans have also been concerned for Justin following P Diddy’s arrest last year. despite their close friendship, Justin’s early career was tumultuous, with rumours that he was “thrown to the wolves” as he partied with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs during his teen years.
The pair’s friendship raised concerns among fans after Combs was arrested in September 2024 on charges related to sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution.
Resurfaced videos between Justin and Diddy fuelled further concerns last year. One clip features the pair hugging, however, fans have claimed that they think Justin was being checked for a wire. The clip, which is thought to have been filmed back in 2021, sees Combs patting Justin on the back and chest several times.
Justin and Hailey have stayed quiet on all things P Diddy. A source told US Weekly that Justin was “advised to stay as far away as possible from anything and everything related to Diddy”. They added Justin wants “nothing to do” with Diddy, and claimed he is “in a hard place mentally”, adding that he was “completely disgusted” by the claims.
