Katie Price has been invited back to Paul C Brunson’s We Need To Talk Podcast after the reality TV star was showered with praise for her honesty and transparency when it came to opening up about her sometimes troubled personal life.

Former glamour model Katie, 46, spoke to Married At First Sight star Paul, 49, about everything from her rollercoaster love life, her marriage with ex-husband Peter Andre, her addiction to cosmetic surgery, being a mum-of-five, and several dark moments from her past.

While Katie has often compared herself to ‘marmite’, admitting that people ‘either love or hate her’, it seems that the raw and telling interview with Paul has done wonders for the public’s opinion on Katie – so much so that the podcast host has now teased a part 2 to her already lengthy interview.

Paul’s official Instagram page for the We Need To Talk Podcast teased another part to Katie’s eye-opening interview on Monday morning. Alongside a teaser photo of Katie sitting on the couch opening up to the podcast host, Paul’s caption reads: “Part 2 pending. We absolutely loved having you on, and we want to thank you for being so vulnerable and honest with us.

“Katie has made some mistakes in life, but who hasn’t. In this interview she takes the first step towards making things right – accepting accountability. Her life story is one of most turbulent and heartbreaking listens we have ever had on We Need To Talk. This isn’t the Katie the tabloids write about – this is the real Katie.”

Following the news of a second part to the interview, fans of the podcast flocked to the comment section to share their excitement as one penned: “I said it already… But it was THE best interview. I think it has a lot to do with how at ease you must make people feel, Paul. Katie, you were so brave.”

“This was so good. I hate people jumping on the hate Katie bandwagon because none of them are in her head or lived a day in her life. I wish for her to just find true happiness love and acceptance and to stop placing her worth in the hands of others,” another echoed.

Someone else added: “Loved this interview, it’s is so obvious how safe Katie was feeling with you.” While another agreed: “This was so insightful and special. A completely different side to her we have never seen before. Thank you for that.”

During the podcast, Katie bravely opened up on abuse she suffered in past relationships. The former glamour model is known for having a very rocky love life, yet behind closed doors it seems she was subject to horrific mental and physical abuse.

She is now happily loved up with Married At First Sight UK star JJ Slater, but it wasn’t always that way. Katie, who has only been single for three years in her adult life, has had eight engagements and three marriages – all of which have ended in divorce.

In a very candid confession, Katie looked back at her romantic relationships and how she was treated. “There was domestic abuse, gaslighting, narcissists and that’s all I was used to,” she shared.

Opening up on the impact it had on her life, she said: “When you are in them kind of relationships and they isolate you, even from your family. If you want to see your family, they have to be there, won’t let you see your friends, put you down or ‘how long are you going to be’ and ‘where are you’.

“‘Why are you doing that job, you’re a s**g if you want to do that’. I have only ever been used to that. If I was working, they would have to come to work with me and you never get a break. It ends up being 24/7 on my case. It is exhausting.”

While on the We Need to Talk podcast, Paul asked Katie if there was a relationship moment that she’s not yet unpacked in therapy. She devastatingly replied: “Being strangled, spat on, my computer being completely smashed, holes being punched in the wall, the name calling, things like that.”

Katie was asked if she ever feared for her life, as she explained: “Yes, but I couldn’t leave because [the partners say] ‘I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I’ll never do it again. I love you, and it’s always ‘you will never find anyone as good as me’.

“You will never find anyone who loves you like me. No one would accept you, and who would want you an old has-been like you with five kids? You are lucky I want you.’

“It is very easy to say to someone who is a victim of mental or physical abuse because you won’t see it. It is behind closed doors. It is the worst situation to be in.”

Katie added: “It is so easy done and it happens very quick. You fall for it but really you fall into the red flags of them isolating you. It all starts, the comments.”
