Katie Price has revealed her latest career move as she gets set to star her first movie. Hot on the heels of the 47-year-old former glamour model’s number one music track, she is now set for a starring role in a star-studded film production.

Katie took to her Instagram Stories to share a poster for the new flick titled Jackie The Stripper. The image, initially shared by director Michael Head, shows Katie alongside Patsy Kensit as camera captures them standing between the legs of a person wearing suspenders.

The comedy horror’s strap line reads: “Revenge is a dish best served cold, while wearing killer heels.” Michael captioned his upload: “She’s coming!

“@jackiethestripperfeaturefilm is the all action comedy grind house thriller not to be missed. You may think you know Jack the Ripper but do you dare to meet Jackie? Revenge is a dish best served cold while wearing killer heels”

Others in the cast include Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, Pussycat Dolls star Kimberly Wyatt and Harry Potter’s James Phelps. According to IMDB, Katie will play the role of Lisa (old school Jackie).

The announcement comes as she also continues her bid for stardom in the music industry. She was left speechless last month when a throwback tune she released eight years ago topped the iTunes chart.

Her 2017 dance track I Got U experienced a surprising resurgence, rising to the number one slot in the dance chart and number two on the general UK hits chart.

Katie’s representative told The Mirror : “Katie can’t believe the amount of support she’s had from the public! This shows what women supporting women can achieve and the power of social media.”

Katie is currently touring the country to talk to audiences with her pal Kerry Katona. However, a recent trip to the north east saw punters far from happy by what they slammed as “unprofessional” behaviour.

Katie was over two hours late for the show, with some fans demanding a refund after the star’s shorter than usual stint. With the duo set to entertain crowds at The Playhouse in Whitley Bay, many were shocked when only Kerry was present for the first half.

Katie was reportedly supposed to join by video call, but that was a “disaster,” according to a source. The source explained: “Kerry went on solo for the first half and Katie tried to join by video but it was a disaster.

“They had a longer interval and Katie finally got there at 9:30. She said it was the traffic and had taken her over nine hours to get there, but fans are furious.”
