Katie Price has been served an eviction notice for her infamous ‘Mucky Mansion’ home in Surrey, weeks after she swerved a second bankruptcy hearing over a £700,000 tax bill to HMRC

Katie Price has been served an eviction notice at her infamous ‘Mucky Mansion’ home.

A passerby exclusively shared an image of the letter with Mirror Online, which is dated April 24th, 2024, and states that “the eviction will take place on May 29th, 2024, at 10am”.

Horsham County Court’s eviction notice, which is addressed to Katie and “any other occupiers”, also instructs her “to arrange to leave the property with [her] belongings before this time and date”.

The letter also states: “The court has issued a warrant or writ for the possession of the above property (land) at the request of the claimant. A warrant gives a county court bailiff the authority to evict you and hand over possession to the claimant. A writ gives a High Court Enforcement Officer the authority to evict you and hand over possession to the claimant. In this notice the term ‘Authorised Person’ is used to refer to either the Bailiff or the High Court Enforcement Officer.”

Earlier this month Katie was said to be at “real risk” of losing her £2million West Sussex home, dubbed the ‘Mucky Mansion’, amid her growing money woes.

The model recently hit headlines after she swerved her second bankruptcy hearing and opted to jet off to Cyprus with her new boyfriend JJ Slater instead. Katie was declared bankrupt for a second time earlier this year due to an unpaid tax bill worth more than £750,000 owed to HM Revenue & Customs.

Katie bought the home back in 2014, which is said to have cost her £1.3million at the time and is featured in her Channel 4 series. In March, the High Court ruled that the 45-year-old will lose half of her monthly earnings. The court heard that trustees went to court to ask for an income payment order – which means money from Katie’s earnings would go towards her debts.

Joshua Harris, Bankruptcy Trustee at Harris & Partners, told The Sun: “Price faces the risk of losing her £2million property, which highlights the severe realities of bankruptcy.”

He added: “In situations of substantial debt, asset repossession is a real threat, used by creditors to recover what they are owed. Not settling financial duties can lead to severe outcomes, including the loss of valuable assets and further financial hardship.”

In October last year, the mum-of-five revealed she had been “fed up” with being threatened with legal action. She discussed her bankruptcy and said she had recently been to court “more times than I’ve had hot dinners” and would “genuinely” not care if she was jailed. Katie has since been generating an income from her OnlyFans and flogging personalised messages to her fans for an eye-watering sum.

In March, the star insisted ‘no one can take her Mucky Mansion’, telling fans: “You’ve followed my life, my journey, I say it as it is. Yes, I’m in a bankruptcy. But guess what? I own my house. No one could take it off me as well.”
