Katie Price is set to drop a huge bombshell in her latest autobiography and finally reveal the name of the person who allegedly raped her – as she now feels the time is right

Katie Price is set to expose the name of the celebrity who allegedly raped her, in her latest tell-all autobiography.

The 45-year-old mother-of-five has claimed that she was attacked by a well-known household name but has always shied away from revealing the identity of her alleged attacker. But now, on the back of the Me Too movement and the fact survivors of sex crimes are coming forward, Katie now reportedly feels the time is right.

A source told The Sun: “Katie thinks now is the time, she has nothing to lose. After all the me-too stuff she thinks if other people have revealed their sex attackers, why can’t I? She vows this will be her most shocking book ever, and she’s ready to name and shame.”

The former Loose Women panellist first spoke out about her alleged attack on her reality TV show What Katie Did Next in 2009. But she decided against reporting the alleged crime to the police which is the reason as to why the allegation was never investigated.

And at that time, she said: “I was raped by a celebrity but no, I’ll never name him, I just don’t want the drama. I don’t even know if he knows that I’ve spoken about him, I doubt he does.” But this wasn’t the first time the former P3 glamour model has opened up about her experience. In an interview with The Guardian, she said: “A lot of people with status get away with things. People cover up for them and a load of people get paid off.”

She added: “When I was in the Priory my therapist said ‘Kate, we’ve never known anyone to have so many traumatic events happen to them.’ And I’m still here, coping.” And in 2017, during an appearance on This Morning with hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamon Holmes, she told them they would know who the person is.

Sat on the infamous sofa, Katie explained: “I’ve been raped by a celebrity, you would know who the person is. I’ve never said a word as I don’t want to go down that road. It happened years ago, it’s best to stay out of it.” She then cryptically added: “There’s a reason why I can’t say it. When you’ve seen that person on telly, you so want to say.” And in a heart-wrenching admission she continued: “But the situation is, I agreed to go back to the house. But when you say ‘no’ and you mean ‘no’ and it continues… I know I was raped anyway.”

Unfortunately for Katie, she endured yet further trauma, which she shared in 2022 to promote her documentary Katie Price: Trauma And Me. Katie was brutally raped at gunpoint in South Africa during a carjacking, which left her with emotional scars so deep to the point of suicide. She shared: “The experience when I was filming with ITV in South Africa we had no security, if we had security they would have helped when the six guys jumped out, held me at gunpoint and raped me.”
