Katy Perry embraced her inner vamp in a burgundy dress which exposed her shrinking waistline and emphasised the results of her recent health kick

Katy Perry upped the glamour at the iHeartRadio Jingle Bell Ball in Pennsylvania last night.

The 40-year-old was pictured on the red carpet in a burgundy sequinned gown with sheer paneling around the midriff, showing off her taut abs. She switched into a futuristic silver gown when the time came to perform to the sold out crowd at the star-studded festive gig, giving fans a taste of what’s to come on her forthcoming world tour.

In October, Katy poked fun at rumours she had overhauled her naturally curvy figure with the help of weight loss jabs. Katy whisked her closest friends away to Geneva for a 40s-themed bash, and dished out goodie bags which included a mini syringe (empty – no Semaglutide included) with “OzempiKP” written on it.

Katy’s epic bash saw guests including her fiance Orlando Bloom and Jeff Bezo’s wife Lauren Sanchez take over the Ritz Carlton in Geneva, where she flew her pals for a huge party.

Katy first sparked interest in her diet and exercise routine when she unveiled a new, toned look along with her new single Woman’ World, the first cut to be taken from her seventh album, 143.

But despite rumours she had been using medical help to slim down, Katy claims losing ’20lbs’ is all down to taking a leaf out of her future husband’s book.

She said she had cut processed food out of her diet and taken up Orlando’s diet regime, but still treated herself to pasta once or twice a week. She also said she had been eating a lot of boiled eggs.

The quirky singer cracked an egg on her forehead to memorably illustrate her point. “I eat a lot of hard boiled eggs ’cause they’re a great source of protein,” Katy quipped in an Instagram video. “But I don’t crack them on this [plate] ’cause it takes too much time.”

In January, she also told Women’s Health that drinking apple cider vinegar, lots of water and even celery juice are among her go-to health hacks too.

“That is the best way to start, is just to drink water,” she told the publication. “I know it’s such a cliché, but I think a lot of us go straight to the coffee without just drinking a glass of water.”
