Kelsey Parker has opened up about her new romance with Will Lindsay, admitting that she was ‘scared’ to go public with the relationship after the death of her husband Tom Parker

Kelsey Parker, who tragically lost her husband Tom Parker of The Wanted to a brain tumour in 2022, has opened up about her new relationship with boyfriend Will Lindsay. The mum-of-two confessed she’s ‘so happy’ with the Tree Surgeon, despite initial fears about going public with their romance. At the Pride Of Britain Awards, Kelsey shared: “I’m very happy. Everyone has been so supportive which has been lovely and wonderful – I was so scared to share it because, you know, trolling is such a big thing.

She told OK!: “I was thinking, ‘Am I going to get trolled? ‘ but the support and love has been absolutely incredible. It’s this whole time thing, like ‘When’s the right time? When’s this? When’s that?’ There is no right time to do anything, you have to just go with your heart and that’s it.” Kelsey and Tom, who were parents to Aurelia and Bodhi, had been together for nine years before tying the knot in 2018. After Tom’s passing in March 2022 at the age of 33, Kelsey briefly dated electrician Sean Boggans, but they split in December with Kelsey admitting it ‘just wasn’t right’.

Kelsey Parker opened up about her emotional rollercoaster as she navigates life with her new partner, while still cherishing the memory of her late husband, Tom. She shared, “This weekend was Bodhi’s fourth birthday, he had a really small party with friends and then we had a nice dinner at my house. It made me so emotional because, I think, Bodhi’s life up until now has been such a process.”

She continued, “I was 35 weeks pregnant, and then I had him, and then Tom died 18 months later. So it’s been a lot in those four years and It was a milestone yesterday. I didn’t post until later on and I think everyone was probably waiting for me to do a post, but, you know, it was a tough day.”

Kelsey also reflected on the bittersweet nature of attending the Pride Of Britain awards, an event she once attended with Tom, saying, “I think every day is just so different. But, I’m here at the Pride Of Britain and I’m going to enjoy it. My first ever year I actually came with Tom, so again, it’s a different kind of milestone”.

In a heartfelt tribute, she spoke about the tragic loss of Liam Payne, who had offered support after Tom’s death, stating, “People can be so cruel online and lets hope Liam is a lesson that we don’t know what will happen to someone, so we should be kinder. Caroline [Flack] was a lesson and now Liam is another one.”
