Unhinged Don – who imposed economic sanction on Britain – got everything he wanted without giving out much in return in an unsavoury show of state fawning using the Royal Family

Kingwashing Donald Trump, prostituting the Royal Family in the desperate hope that Charlie & Co could convert the American monster, is a gamble that backfired.

Garlanding the nasty US bully who imposed economic sanctions on Britain and damages our country’s security by undermining Nato, never mind betraying Ukraine, gave unhinged Don everything he wanted without earning much in return.

Even the multi-billion pounds tech and nuclear deals with corporations scenting fat profits in Blighty by owning our vital infrastructure and personal data, inviting what should be more accurately called American Intelligence than Artificial Intelligence to shape what we read, see and think, are fraught with danger.

Agreed before the Far Right authoritarian White nationalist sexual predator enjoyed the Windsor sterile red carpet treatment shielded from a great British public loathing Trump, the contracts are about money and owe little to the slavering over a toxic President.

For an unsavoury orange manbaby with skin thinner than a butterfly’s wing, the state fawning was stomach-churning for everybody with pride.

I’m a republican yet felt sorry for Charlie, Camilla, William and Kate who did their duty to fool the gullible, vain weirdo into believing he was special. Barack Obama addressed both Houses of Parliament, the ultimate tribute to a foreign leader, in his pomp.

French President Emmanuel Macron too during his recent stopover. Trump? MPs were sent home just hours before he landed, the doors locked and the old narcissist didn’t notice the gaping hole in his tour because his head is stuck so far up his own backside.

Chequers, the day at the Prime Minister’s country retreat, was always going to be the morning after the night before and so it proved. Unwanted advice to deploy the military to stop illegal migration was the fevered ranting of a golf club 19th hole bar when there is no way a proud Royal Navy would risk drowning people in small boats and confrontation with neighbour France, a Nato ally, would be disastrous.

For a man full of wind, Trump is clearly ignorant about energy when around half the country’s electricity is generated by turbines including vast North Sea fields while dwindling, increasingly expensive oil and gas are internationally traded.

Trump doesn’t know Peter Mandelson who, like him, was close to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein? Really? Photographs and film of Trump holding Mandy’s hand, swooning the now former UK ambassador to Washington was a handsome feller, prove otherwise.

Once a liar, always a liar and Trump exists in another world of make-believe where only the criminally gullible accept a word he says without first checking the facts.

Trump was right about one thing, however, and that is Russian Tsar Vladimir Putin gave him the runaround over Ukraine, although he didn’t quite put it that way.

Ethnic cleansing and genocide in Gaza? Trump arms Israel and is an enemy of Palestinians. What did Keir Starmer and Britain gain from this fawn-fest? Little at great cost. Britain’s future is rebuilding burnt bridges with Europe, not bending the knee to an odious tinpot tyrant treating us as a US vassal 51st state.
