Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Khloe Kardashian has faced backlash after a magazine cover shoot saw her ‘look like a different person’ due to heavy editing
Khloe Kardashian fans have once again called out the reality TV star for photoshopping her pictures. The mum-of-two recently modelled for Wonderland Magazine with the photoshoot appearing on the latest series of The Kardashians.
However, eagle-eyed fans have been left ‘shocked’ by the over-editing of Khloe’s final pictures. While the cameras were rolling on the Disney+ series, viewers could see Khloe showing off her best modelling skills and working the angles. However, when the final result of Khloe’s photoshoot was unveiled, viewers were left in disbelief.
Taking to Reddit, they debated the topic of Photoshopping pictures. One user wrote: “When watching the show they were showing Khloe posing for her perfume photoshoot and I thought she looked great! But then they showed the actual edited cover they selected and I almost spat my water out. How can anyone approve that? It doesn’t even look like her.
“Khloe is beautiful but she doesn’t look like this at all. It breaks my heart for her, because she doesn’t need to do all this editing. Also frustrating because she denies editing her face.”
Another said: “At this point I kind of assume that any published shot I see of a celebrity is edited into oblivion and they likely look 30-50 pounds heavier IRL.” Someone else added: “That nose is not what she presents on social media.”
“Khloe facetunes and filters so much that she ends up looking like a cartoon. It is okay to edit and filter, but she takes it too far because she ends up not even looking like a person. I feel body dysmorphia is the worst with both her and Kylie (who has had the most plastic surgery) because they were deemed the “ugly sisters.” They both still have a lot of issues with their appearance. Kind of exhausting,” another echoed.
It comes after Khloe set social media abuzz this week after unveiling a fresh set of bikini photos that left fans both applauding and divided. The reality star, who recently turned 40, uploaded the images to Instagram, where her 303 million followers were quick to weigh in.
Wearing a cherry-patterned bikini accented with red piping, Khloe posed poolside with her daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 2. Her chiseled abs, sculpted silhouette, and youthful glow sparked an immediate flood of commentary. The matching bikini top accentuated her chest, while the cheeky-cut bottoms left little to the imagination.
Many fans were blown away by her age-defying physique as one swooned: “OMG, she looks amazing in a bikini at 40yrs old. That’s hard work to look that good.” Another echoed: “This woman ages like a fine wine. She looks incredible.” Someone else agreed: “This is the best Khloe has ever looked. My God.”
However, others were not as impressed and some of Khloe’s longtime admirers expressed nostalgia for her previous look. “Make Khloe thick again,” one person wrote, lamenting her slimmed-down appearance. Another commented: “I really miss her beautiful curves. That’s what made her so relatable to us all.”
“It’s sad that she has given into the pressure and lost so much weight when she and her sisters used to promote thick curves. Really is as though their bodies are trends,” another complained. “I wish she would just stick to one way of looking,” someone else commented.
Khloe captioned the post simply with a playful selection of emojis as she let the visuals speak for themselves. Her children also made a stylish appearance in the shots. True wore a white cherry-printed dress with fringed edges and white sandals, her long braids cascading down her shoulders. Tatum kept it simple in a white tee and pale swim shorts, also paired with sandals.
The Good American founder shares her two children with former partner Tristan Thompson. Though their romantic relationship ended for good in 2021 after a rocky on-and-off history, the pair continue to co-parent amicably.
