Dad-of-two Blue Stevens was knifed to death in Knightsbridge as he reportedly tried to fend off an armed mugger who was attempting to grab his gold Rolex watch outside a casino

Three people have been arrested after a man was stabbed to death close to a luxury hotel in Knightsbridge, London.

An investigation was launched following the fatal stabbing of Blue Stevens, 24, on Wednesday. Police arrested two people at a property in Hounslow, in west London, on Saturday.

One man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and he remains in police custody. Another man was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Following the arrests, Met Police officers obtained a warrant to search two properties in Chiswick where “significant evidence” was recovered.

The third man was apprehended today on suspicion of assisting an offender. He remains in police custody.

Detective Chief Superintendent Christina Jessah, who leads policing in Central West London, said: “These arrests mark a significant milestone in this complex and unfolding murder investigation.

“We continue to progress at pace. While we retain an open mind around motive, one line of enquiry is now that this may have been a targeted attack.

“Increased police patrols remain active in and around the Knightsbridge area. Please do speak with an officer if you have any questions or concerns.”

Met Police officers responded with paramedics also racing to the scene in Seville Street at about 9:24pm on Wednesday, July 9. Blue was found with stab wounds and despite the best efforts of emergency services, he died at the scene. His next-of-kin continue to be supported by specialist officers.
