Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet have managed to keep their relationship relatively private – much to the horror of the reality star’s infamous ‘momager’, Kris Jenner
Kylie Jenner is rebelling against Kris Jenner’s plans for her relationship with Timothée Chalamet.
The 26-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder went public with her romance with the 28-year-old Wonka star back in September last year. Since then, the couple have managed to keep their relationship pretty private, with Kylie reportedly keen to avoid their romance becoming a “spectacle”, much to the disappointment of her ‘momager’, Kris.
On Friday, Kylie and Timothée were photographed enjoying a date night – which was the first time they had been spotted together in public since their PDA-packed appearance at the Golden Globes in January. Even though the low-key duo’s determination to keep their romance as private as possible has seen them become the centre of split rumours, they remain keen to keep their relationship relatively under wraps.

According to an insider, Kris is not happy. The 68-year-old infamous businesswoman has reportedly been encouraging her youngest daughter to be more open about her relationship and is keen for Timothée – who is currently in the midst of filming for the Bob Dylan biopic – to join the family reality show, The Kardashians.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source close to the couple explained: “Kylie and Timothée are going so well because Kylie is not putting ultimatums on him to be a part of the Kardashians TV show.”
The insider added that keeping their relationship relatively under wraps, allows the duo to be “as normal a couple as possible”, considering each of their dizzying levels of fame.
However, Kris has reportedly been butting heads with her reality star daughter – with the duo disagreeing over Kylie’s decision to keep her relationship private. The source described: “Kris would love for Timothée to flaunt Kylie everywhere – but Kylie is making sure to fight this because she actually doesn’t want to make it more of a spectacle than it already is.”
Kylie – who shares two children, six-year-old Stormi and two-year-old Aire, with her ex, Travis Scott – is happy taking her relationship with Timothée slow for now. The insider claimed that while marriage and babies are “definitely on the table”, they are not on the couple’s agenda for the “immediate future”.
