Kylie Jenner managed to fool fans when she took to her Instagram to share a slew of photos taken in a form-fitting white dress that many mistook for a wedding dress
Kylie Jenner’s fans were convinced she eloped with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet after she shared snaps of her in a white dress while on vacation. The socialite, 27, and the Oscar-nominated actor, 29, have been going from strength to strength since they were first linked in early 2023.
On Sunday afternoon, Kylie took to her Instagram page to share a series of snaps taken at the beach at an unknown location as she rocked a tight mesh mini-dress with crochet floral detailing. She completed the stunning look with matching white stockings, a tight, slicked back bun and pearl earrings. Kylie simply captioned the post: “cosmic girl,” referring to her new fragrance.

Fans momentarily thought she eloped with her boyfriend after seeing the white outfit and rushed to the comment section to share their excitement.
One user said: “Legit thought she eloped and this was an iconic wedding dress,” while another posted: “Not me zooming in on the left hand.” One fan commented: “For a moment I thought she was launching that about her wedding!!”
It comes after Timothée and Kylie took their relationship to the next step by making their first red carpet appearance as a couple earlier this month.
The duo have been linked since 2023 and have been pictured at multiple events and sporting matches, but have never posed on the red carpet together until May.
The lovebirds turned heads at the 70th David di Donatello Awards, where they posed together for photographers at a high-profile photocall. While Timothée skipped the Met Gala just days earlier, fans didn’t have to wait long to see the couple make their formal debut.
A source close to the couple revealed the reason behind his no-show at the Met Gala: “Timothée did consider going to the Met Gala, but he is a huge Knicks fan and Kylie knows this,” they said. “Kylie didn’t bother him to go with her and that’s something he appreciates about her. She allows him to do his own thing.”
Kylie and Timothee’s relaxed approach seems to work well for the couple, who have, until now, kept their relationship out of the spotlight- reserving their public appearances for private parties and low-key outings. However, their radiant Rome appearance marked a turning point for the lovebirds.
The duo’s loved-up red carpet debut came amid reports Timothee is set to play a secret set at Glastonbury 2025 following his incredible performance as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.
The Sun recently reported that the actor is tipped to appear on the Acoustic Stage on Saturday, June 28, as part of the Dylan-inspired ensemble Not Completely Unknown.
Glasto’s listing for the band on Glastonbury’s official site hints at “special guests,” further fuelling the whispers.
